Best cheese bread we have had at any Broadway Pizza! Service is excellent… wasn’t busy when we’ve come but food was good and quick!

Don’t get me wrong — I love this place for the convenient location. The waitresses have the exact right combo of friendliness and leave-you-aloneness. The atmosphere & décor are so much fun, especially when you have kids. The tap and drinks are a-okay. That’s what earns this place 3 stars. But there is so much room for improvement. The hostess is a strangely snobbish teenager, and they act surprised and inconvenienced when you ask for a high chair for your baby. The food is the worst. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a kiddie pizza, and the salad came out almost immediately after I ordered it. Now, I don’t mean to complain about fast service, but at least ACT like it was prepared fresh! Bland iceberg, mealy refrigerated tomatoes, and flavorless cucumbers served with croutons that I actually lacerated the roof of my mouth with. They don’t have balsamic vinegar or vinaigrette, but they have that crappy«Italian dressing» from a container. Then the main courses came. The spaghetti was overcooked and served with«Italian bread» that was really salty and not at all garlicky. Only 2 meatballs, which were perfectly adequate, but not flavorful. But the sauce… Oh, the horror! Imagine Prego, but with two tablespoons of sugar added and remove any resemblance of herbs. I mean, it’s July for crying out loud. You almost have to TRY to NOT get fresh herbs in your kitchen! The kiddie pizza was exactly what I was expecting after the spaghetti. Cheese, good. Sauce, awful. Crust, bland, thawed, no texture of crisp. They called it New York style, which brings me to my final point: I just moved here from New York, and I’m Italian. So perhaps you should take this review with a grain of salt, but I don’t think so. What I think is that you, Broadway Pizza, should think about where dining is headed in 2015 to stay alive. Fresh ingredients, artisanal recipes, and AUTHENTIC flavors. You have none of those, which sucks, because I so want to love you. Keep trying!

They definitely have improved since opening. Great pizza and great place locally to take my parents to. Tuesday night they have bingo that starts at 630pm with cash prizes and $ 1 per card to play.

I would have given them 5 stars, but they don’t deliver to our place anymore, I guess they changed the boundary lines to where the drivers can’t go to our area. We live in North Brooklyn Park, so its too bad they don’t deliver to us anymore. Their wings are good & crunchy. They are small, but I like crunchy wings. I always order the baked spaghetti with extra sauce & it is always good!

5⁄5 for a good atmosphere and great food. The wings are really good and they have the best onion rings I have had in several months.(I eat them everywhere I go). Some drink deals but about the usual prices for pizza and hanging out at the local pub. Deep dish pizzas are pretty darn good too.

Bottom line: Décor and menu all about heritage and authenticity– food is expensive and anything but authentic. First some positives– they did a nice job on the interior. I can see why it took such a long time to build it out. Server Ashley was super nice. Now, the rest of the review: Onion rings were ok value($ 7.49) but from frozen and lacked flavor. Other appetizers are expensive. My take on the pizza is it’s expensive and it’s not real!!! A large(15″) Classic Deluxe was $ 20.49. What you get is modern conveyor belt pizza– a far cry from the Broadway Pizza I remember from original locations. The thin crust is more bread-like than real pizza crust– no real texture or flavor, not enough cheese or sauce, cheap pepperoni and sausage, the other toppings all cut to the same shape and size. Maybe I am being too harsh, it was edible after all, just nowhere near the outstanding pizza I remember and had been anticipating. Second pizza was a small BYO with two ingredients-ok except sun dried tomatoes came out burned. So, two pizzas, one hard cider and the onion rings equals $ 44 before tax. The dining area is built around the bar so we know what the profit center is here, but food quality MUST get better to justify these prices!!! These guys know how to do it right, but compromises have been made. Spend your pizza bucks at Scoreboard pizza in Brooklyn Center until Broadway shapes up. Oh, one other thing– restroom was cold and sink ran only cold water– I hate that.

Stopped at Broadway for dinner and service was excellent. Broadway has some of the better pizza in town. Service was friendly at this location and food arrived very quick. We requested cheesy bread before the pizza and it was on our table hot and fresh within a matter of minutes. The bar has new TV’s and the restaurant was clean. I have been to other Broadway locations and this one for being new has great service at least on my visit. It’s a little more on the spendy side for pizza but the service and quality of pizza easily makes up for it. They also have very good root beer that the restaurant buys by the keg. Great place to bring the family for a night out for some good pizza. It’s in a great location and worth checking out.

I’m extremely excited for the neighborhood addition. I stopped in for HH. The customer service was A+. I ordered the 1-topping pizza along with libations. The Bartender Julie and her co worker mixed up fabulous margaritas(Beergaritas) In its 1st week being open. I’ve never seen the lot empty. They’ve picked a prime location. Can’t wait for the outdoor patio & bar to open. It’s a Non smoking area for the smokers out there. This Broadway gets my 5 star vote.
