My driver window was completely smashed and it seem no place was opened on a Sunday and to make worse holiday weekend… I spent 3hrs looking for a spot in queens No luck either they said closed or won’t be ready till Monday I was about give up till I saw this place that was not to far from my job in Brooklyn which is a easy route on the BQE not only could they say they can fix it same day they got me out in an hour so I definitely and they were very much so a life saver

My car was broken into overnight. I called my insurance company to make a claim and set up repairs of the driver’s side window. They said that I would have to wait two days to get the window fixed so I did my own research. I found 2 Hour Auto Glass online. I saw the positive Unilocal reviews, but figured I would check for myself. Barry answered the phone and saved the day. He checked his inventory, confirmed that they had the window and told me to come right in. My window was repaired within an hour, even better that the «2 Hour» name. If you ever run into this type of situation, call 2 Hour Auto. Also, still check them out because they may be a preferred service center for your insurance carrier. if you have glass coverage, 2 Hour Glass will bill your insurer directly and save you the hassle. From the comments here one can see the secret is out that they do a GOOD job and FAST. My Ford Explorer was broken into last Thursday. I called them around Closing time. After checking whether they had the glass in stock told me to come right down, While the installer vacuumed all the glass and replaced the window I enjoyed a good bull session with the owner Barry and his assistant Keith. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If you see the person that broke my window feel free to run him over :)

Joe is terrific — I had the unfortunate experience of having my window broken with shattered glass all over the backseat and sidewalk. It was just after 4 in the afternoon and pouring rain when I went to retrieve my car. After filing a police report — a waste of time (side note: 1 star for the 78^th Precinct) and trying to contact Geico, I called Joe who told me to come straight over. By the time I got there, he already had the part ordered and the insurance claim filed. The car was ready by 9 a. m the next morning with every shard of glass cleaned off the back seat (thanks Chris). Luckily, Geico covered the entire bill and Joe handled all the paperwork.
A few weeks prior, I had a fracture on my windshield, and Joe replaced it immediately and flawlessly, so when my back window was broken, I didn’t hesitate to call him. Generally, if you need to visit an auto glass shop, it’s after an unfortunate incident, but he and his staff make the process a breeze. And you get a free pen.

Very prompt, efficient and friendly service. The repair was needed toward the end of the day and was completed within an hour of my arrival at the shop on 19^th street. I give Barry and company a very strong recommendation.

Had a crack in my new Honda CRV windshield. After getting it back, the windshield wiper made a funny noise, the road noise was very loud (windshield not sealed properly) and worst of all the mechanic got multiple black caulk spots on my cream interior. I came back and they did fix the windshield, tried to fix the wiper (still makes noise), and I didn’t bother to point out the caulk for fear that they would make it worse.
I appreciate that they spent time trying to fix the issues, but this is my first new car and those black caulk stains kill me every time I see them. I would not go back.

This is a wonderful family owned business. Excellent service! My car was broken into and Barry and Joe were kind and knew how to put me at ease during that stressful time. 2 Hr Glass had the glass I needed on a Sunday and the original glass. They also had me out of there in less than 2 hours. Thank you for saving my Sunday.

They can be slick, but they are the quickest. I needed to come from Staten Island to get my windshield window replaced, after it was cracked by a small stone jumping from a trailer driving in front of me. I called few places in Staten Island, none of them could commit to replace it today, and they were the only place who told me that they replace it today.
So after I let them talk and talk, I told them how much I am willing to pay, and we agreed on the price. I asked twice: Is this the only charge? They said yes. And that was the amount I paid. I will not write the amount here, because different cars need different parts, but I will say that I paid here the average amount, but got the quickest windshield replacement. They did a good job, and very detailed one.
I can recommend them.

Barry is the man! He was professional and he got me out of there in less than 20 mins. Great service, good people and not to mention the best prices!

When I called, I spoke with Joe who said the address is wrong and told me address is 132 19^th street. Originally looking Palais Glass which had a higher rating. Took my 2003 Camry there on July 11 and it had a bad window motor. $ 230 (insisted on cash) and 2.5 hours later it was fixed. 30 day warranty.
Aug 5 same motor dies again. Another 2 hours and $ 0 later it was fixed, again.

I broke my rear glass my Honda Odyssey on Sunday at 3.30. Don’t know where to go for replacement since it’s Sunday. Googled and found 2 hour glass with pretty good review. Called them and spoke to Barry, he gave me better price than quote from Safelite. He said that I could drop my car but I prefer to come to shop the next day since I could put my car with broken glass on my garage. During the cleaning on my driveway, I met my neighbor that refer me to 2hour Glass too. I thought that I choose the right place to fix my car.
The next day come to 2hour shop which close to my work place at 8.20, at 9.40 the car already done with glass like new and they vacuum the broken glass that is on the trunk too.
They did the job quick and excellent.

I didn’t like the business tactics of the owner, Joe. He’s a pretty good salesman and I had a feeling of being ripped off, but I let them fix the window anyway. I’d recommend you go prepared knowing that they will try to charge you more if they sense an unexperienced customer.

When Safelite blew off an appointment without a call or text or any other heads up, I called 2 Hour Auto Glass. Barry made sure my window was in stock. He told me to come in the next morning, 20 minutes before opening, and he’d get me out in time to get to work at 8:45 in Carroll Gardens. When I got there the next morning, Joe and the guys took care of everything — I was in and out in about 35 minutes and on time to work.
Don’t let your insurance steer you elsewhere — these guys are professional, efficient, and very kind. I will be calling them directly next time and recommending them left and right!

Had a really great experience with 2 Hour. I called on a Monday and told them I’d be in the next morning. They had a windshield ready to go for my 2009 Rav4. It was installed by a team of two gentlemen, and I was in and out within a half hour! Great service. My only complaint is that I had said I’d prefer to pay with my card as paying in cash meant a dreaded trip to the bank, and even though they accept cards he told me I needed to pay in cash. Overall, incredible, fast, wonderful service.

I called right away and they were closing but mentioned they would stay open for me since I was already on my way.
Got there and got my window fixed within an hour! Even the bagel shop stayed open for me to get cash out of the ATM! Barry, Joe and Carlos are winners in my book and I definitely recommend them.

Found 2 Hour Auto Glass last minute when I broke my rear window from my 2007 Scion tC Hatchback.
Met with owner Barry who has been in the business for over 25 years. They had me in and out of the shop in less than 2 hours for a very good price all in.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their car windows.

Had these guys install a side window on an infiniti after my car was broken into.
Pros:
–Installed the glass window. It operates as it should and is of the same shade.
Cons:
–Told me it would be done in an hour, I waited for 3 hrs. I specifically asked the guy if he has the window in stock before getting there. He said he did, when in fact he had to order it and made me wait all that time.
–Told me it would be $ 189 for the whole job over the phone, just to tell me that he didn’t calculate the labor when I arrived to pay, which was another $ 65, saying that the total is $ 255. Tacked on another $ 16 in taxes on top of that. Can’t you give me the total over the phone, and not nickel and dime me every time?
–Did a shitty job vacuuming the glass. There was glass on the floor and in all of the crevices. Is it so hard spending an extra 10 minutes to at least pick the glass off the floor.
Even if I had to wait for a bit, I would not mind, but in combination of these events, the business practice of the shop is just shady.

It was about 5pm the other day when I discovered a nasty spider web of a crack in my windshield that was slowly getting bigger and bigger as i drove around the neighborhood. I rushed home, found these guys on Unilocal and called them.
Even though they were closing up shop for the day, Barry tells me to drive down ASAP and leave the car overnight so they can get to it first thing in the morning. By 10:30am the next day, I had a new windshield.
I can’t say enough good things about the guys at 2-​Hour Auto Glass. Nice as can be, bent over backwards to accommodate me, and gave me a very good price. I recommend them highly!
