Lovely little place right down the block from me. I had two very delicious sandwiches and I can’t wait to go back and try the others(the Brooklyn Brie was especially amazing). I’m so glad I discovered it and I don’t have to walk to Dunkin donuts anymore

I’m going to give this place 4 stars for attempting to offer healthy options and 1 star for lack of follow-through, so we end up with 2. A variety of fresh juices were advertised but they only had beet, carrot, and celery. I went with carrot and beet and it was pretty good. I asked if they had a vegetarian empanada and they only offered cheese but the lady offered to make me one with vegetables without cheese. Fresh empanada? Score! So my empanada comes and I bite in and the crust is hot, chewy, and fantastic. Wait a minute — is that LETTUCE in my empanada? The lady totally made me a salad empanada — nothing but lettuce, tomato, and celery. Really? I understand that not everyone knows how to make excellent vegetarian dishes, but who in their right mind would stuff an empanada with lettuce and celery and fry it? That is absolutely ridiculous. Granted, I didn’t specify which vegetables i wanted in it, but I figured they’d be the normal veggies you find in Latino cooking — potatoes, bell peppers, rajas, nopales, mushrooms. Definitely not lettuce and celery. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Yummy lil spot. Haven’t tried the food yet. I did try the Los Tres Gulpes(Orange, Carrot, Milk) [$ 3] which was delicious!
