A One Nails

By far one of THE WORST nail salons I have ever been to! I used to go here back when I was in college so when I started working near by again I said I’ll go one day after work I showed the man a pic of how I wanted my nails and he was so confident that he knew how to do it (the coffin shaped nail) well guess NOT my nails came out horrible. Paint? Forget about it the corners were left unpainted he refused to put another coat telling me «it’s good»… My pedicure forget about it they used no soap and they did it in like 5 mins… Already annoyed out my mind the lady painting my nails smudges my polish and tries to cover it with an extra coat so now it looks like an uneven layer of polish… Next eye brows! Let’s just say I had two diff noticeable brows when I left… Months later I decided to return you know some ppl deserve a second chance… NOPE! I left with crooked nails terrible paint job smudged polish and I feel like I was being rushed out the shop let’s not forget eyebrows were uneven I just wanted to cry I would definitely not recommend any one go here you will just leave angry trust !! If anything plzzz try to avoid the old guy sitting at the first right side table at the door he’s so confident in his work and it’s terrible !!

I did not realize, until I read these other reviews (too late), that anybody else could have possibly had a terrible experience as I had. I just moved from manhattan to park slope, wanted to find a consistent mani/​pedi local spot. Not that I care too much. but VERY obvious my salonist was talking about in her native tongue, looked negative and complaints. Whatever right as long as I get a good mani/​pedi, life moves on. After i reuqested to cut my big toe nail shorter, she said «no no way too low, if you want it that low. you do it yourself.» Um I’m sorry, that is your job and I’ve had these toes for 28 years and know it is not too low. I’ve had 100 ’ s of pedicures. Don’t know if she was having the worst day of her life, but then maybe she should have taken off… or get another job. I obviously did not let her finish my pedicure. rudeness is another story. I did not even TRUST this woman to move any further. My friend and I left .will never go back. Horrible customer satisfaction. Felt I needed to write this review so nobody else ruins their own salon experience:)

The staff is very friendly & the place looks clean but i would only go there for a mani pedi, last time i did my eyebrows there the lady that did them messed them up big time. She waxed my eyebrows skinny and uneven! I will never do my eyebrows here again. As for the manicures and pedicures its decent and the manager is super nice and sweet. Prices are decent. Also they use to sit u down to dry your nails and then they would give u a quick little massage but they don’t do that anymore. Anyways, This is my usual spot for mani-pedi’s.

My manicurist must have been having a terrible day. This is the only possible explanation that can make up for her rudeness, sloppiness and unnecessary roughness. I requested that she smooth out the split layers to prevent premature chipping and she handed me a tool and told me to do it myself. She then proceeded to polish my nails and caked on a THICK, bulky later of top coat. Just because a manicure is priced at $ 7 doesn’t mean it should be done without care or effort. If the staffers at this nail joint believe $ 7 deserves minimal effort they should increase the price – not delivery a crappy end product to the customer. Should have checked Unilocal before wandering in off the street. The lack of reviews says it all.
