My toilet had broken. Needed a plumber. Called ADS. Worse Idea.
The person who came over brought no tools with him and said he would have to order the part. (We have a sloan flushmate tank). I asked him how much to replace the part and how much to just get a new toilet. The price I was quoted for both a replacement or a whole new toilet was $ 600.00!!! THAT’S $ 600.00 FOR EITHER A NEW TOILET OR $ 600.00 FOR A REPLACEMENT PART.
YOU CAN ORDER THE REPLACEMENT PART ONLINE FOR UNDER $ 115.00 I CAN ALSO GET A NEW TOILET AT HOME DEPOT FOR $ 300.00 (Figuring top of the line).
How they came up with a $ 600.00 price is beyond me.
Oh and the kicker regardless if they do any work or not… ADS charges $ 65.00 per call, but supposedly the $ 65.00 can be used as credit towards work. Also they wouldn’t take a check, wanted cash only. The man who came mumbled something about taxes if he took a check. Probably trying to avoid the tax man. SCAM!!!
Not worth it for that price. I would not recommend this service. Shop around but dont go to ADS PLUMBING!!!
