I never even got far enough to book a doctor’s appointment because the «customer service» person for the appointments was so surly and rude I didn’t want to stay on the phone anymore. Kay gave me attitude from the moment she picked up. I explained to her that my insurance (Golden Rule) is the individual version of United Health Care and that although many people have not heard of it, I found these doctors as approved providers on the UHC website, and in the 10 years I’ve had the insurance every doctor that takes UHC takes Golden Rule. She told me in a condescending tone that she understood what I was saying but to let her do her job. After putting me on hold three times she came back she said «we’re still checking.» I asked what they were checking and she repeated «we’re checking» in an even nastier tone. I asked to please stop talking to me like I was 4 and then she turned it up about 5 more notches, as if she wasn’t nasty enough already. Awful, awful experience, especially when people calling in are already sick and just need help.
