Very reasonably priced liquor. The man at the counter owner??) is very personable! Go here!

This place is alright. They have small selections of liquors which seemed fair enough. Not to pricey but the only thing I didn’t like was when I got there, I was on the phone asking a friend what they like to drink and some guy that works there was being rude. Asking me to hurry up cause I was taking to long. So when you go just make sure you know what you getting.

Thank the gods, reasonably priced booze just across the street from my humble abode. As of late a lot of tiny wine shops have been popping up in the neighborhood. So it’s nice to have a simply booze shop for once. I dropped by this shop to pick up a bottle of rum for a party. This place had a lot more than I was expecting, a good selection of «fun wines.» I’m not a expert not even close, but if a wine is cupcake flavored I’m sold! Whoever doesn’t the ordering is on their game too. I saw at least 6 or 7 new brands that debuted at The Wine and Food Festival back in Sept. I get to my main goal, Rum! They have well known brands and a bunch of underrated ones(my favorites). I recently fell in love with a brand called Sugar Island,(try it right now, it will change your life) and I noticed they have a coconut flavored version. I toy with the idea of getting it, but I’m buying boozes for a party. I always buy something I don’t mind leaving. I grab a cheaper random rum and go to the checkout. The guy at the counter who I thought was absentmindedly watching some random judge show, perked up and got all chatty. He noticed every bottle I touched, and started a convo about the Sugar Island. Apparently it’s not everywhere yet. He was really informative, without being pushy. And I liked the way he watched his merchandise with a keen eye. Rather than sticking it all away behind thick ugly bullet proof glass. This wide open space is much easier to shop from. I will be back, for some Sugar Island and more recommendations! Also the address is between Union and Lorimer. Right down the block from Walgreen’s, but before the park.
