Agra Heights is super delicious! I put in a large order for my office today and everyone was so happy. We previously had a poor experience at another Indian restaurant and some were wary to try again but I pushed Agra Heights(I’ve been ordering from them for a year and a half) and no one was dissatisfied. We all have leftovers for later tonight and even tomorrow. The lunch special is a great price for the amount & quality of the food you get. Highly recommended!

The food took super long to arrive but was well worth it. Everything was executed well, loved the samosas, Mulligatawny soup, gulabjamun and guava juice. However, I didn’t like the saag ponir, felt it needed salt and seasoning. I would recommend this place for anyone with a craving for good indian food.

«Two words: Dinner. Special.» That is what my friend Sam said to me when I had one too many mediocre Indian experiences and asked my Facebook friends for their recommendation on the the best Indian food in the Bushwick /Ridgewood area. Hearing«special» and being the cheap bastard that I am, I immediately logged onto GrubHub and ordered. In short: I cannot resist a deal. On GrubHub the dinner special is listed as the ‘Daily Special Plate’ — You get a full-sized app and a half-quart container of your choice entrée. It comes with a medley of the classic condiments: tamarind sauce, cucumber raita, the mint+cilantro sauce that typically accompanies samosas that I am fully obsessed with and naan*, of course. It also comes with a cup of orange in color /delightful in taste rice pudding. At $ 13, it’s absolutely a deal for the amount of food you receive. It was the value that originally caught my interest but it is the food that keeps my cheap-ass coming back. So, onto the grub: Their veggie vindaloo is on point and coincidentally the only thing I’ve ever eaten as it satisfies that specific craving that creeps up on me when I’m in the mood for Indian: Something spicy, just a little bit greasy and bright in flavor. What makes it especially good besides flavor(and it is H-O-T) is the crunch the vegetables have. Leads me to assume that the vegetables are made fresh. They even put a very sparing amount of fresh ginger which make those few special bites SOFRIGGIN’ YUMMY. The *naan is unremarkable but I am truthfully not a tremendously big of a fan of naan. I haven’t had a proper sampling of the menu but I wouldn’t pass it up if you’re looking for a delivery spot. Speaking of: Delivery is almost always quicker than the estimated time but never later.

This place is dope. Uh go eat there. And watch Bollywood videos #chakdoomdoom. Really nice staff and the food was heavenly. The lamb korma and butter chicken were amazing, such tender meat. Garlic Naan was also really good. Definitely going back.

Excellent! I’m British and Indian food is our unofficial cuisine. Ate there last night, excellent chicken korma, naan, sag aloo — all really incredible, one of the best I’ve had in NY — well worth spending your money here.

First time trying Indian in Bushwick and it was a bit of a let down. Mali Kofta was not spicy as requested and kinda blah, Shag Paneer was overly sweet and also not spicy at all, but the chunks of cheese were sizeable and pretty good. Raita portion was way to small and super watery. Meh. Had higher expectations from the reviews.

The food is great but no consistency sadly. Sometimes i go here and the food is yummy and sometimes very disappointing. My family was over from india and i took them here based on my previous experience which was great. The food during this dinner was horrible. In fact one of the curries was not even worth eating at all. I hope they fix things in terms of consistency. I havent returned after that embarassment. My family is still making fun of my taste buds because i told them the place is awesome before taking them there.

I just waited an hour and a half for the most bland, flavorless mattar paneer I have ever had. And I ordered it «spicy» too! Stick with Nepalese Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood. I didn’t know it was possible for Indian food to be this flavorless.

Agra Heights is a great spot two blocks down from my apartment that for some reason I had only ever ordered take out from until last night. Me and my little man stopped by around 6pm to grab dinner and the restaurant was nice with bollywood movies playing silently on the big screen tv. Since there was only one other table we received amazing service and our food came out so quickly! Mango lassi’s with a dollop of whip cream(amazing), chicken tika masala(delicious), garlic naan(yum), chicken biryani(spicy yumminess). Plus we received mini servings of rice pudding for dessert on the house. I’d highly recommend venturing out of your apartment for a quiet dinner in Agra Heights.

First off, I’ve ordered from Agra a few times now. Haven’t eaten in, so can’t speak for their in house service. As for the quality of their food it’s average. I pretty much enjoyed everything I ate there, but the delivery experience is so awful that I have no interest in providing them with my business any more. Every time I’ve ordered, they have failed to put all the ordered items into my order. Either not sending any sauces with naan bread, or missing meals entirely. Last time I ordered, I got three meals, and received two. Then when I called to have them send the other meal, they asked if I would take a credit for it(seamless) because the«delivery guys are tired and cold». I’m sorry your staff has to do extra trips because your kitchen couldn’t follow instructions, but that should by no means be a reason to provide subpar service to a customer and make them not have enough food. As a former restaraunt manager, and having years of food service experience, I was pretty shocked that any place would handle a situation like this. Having been the third time they screwed up an order to my apartment, strike three has me no longer willing to give them my money.
