HORRIBLE, Janet is very unprofessional and I must say Rude. She took the same information twice the first time I called she was very nice and the second time I called was because she told me she would call me back than said that the no one took my information down and clearly it was her. Honestly I would rather call 1800-​State Farm than call these people. Alan wheeler should start looking for new employees.

Tried reaching out for quotes and connected to Mariel Herrera. HORRIBLE. She lacks any professionalism. Unable to communicate clearly in email. UNWILLING to have Alan contact me directly. Apparently trying to hide how inept she was. I needed specific insurance but what she didn’t realize is that I have 3 houses and several cars through them. Yeah, I am pulling because of Mariel Herrera.

To bad you can’t give negative stars… DONT GO HERE. I experienced this office for 2.5 seconds… between the n word and the f word thrown around like its going out of style… smh horrendous… nothing but 20 something girls with no work ethic or proper skills. they speak badly of everyone that calls and after whomever walks in and walks out the door. Modern day mean girls. i repeat STAY AWAY… one exception the very sweet front desk girl sheila… the rest… i have NO MORE WORDS

I am having a terrible time with the Alan Wheeler Agency. I’ve had home owner’s insurance with them for five years, and recently wanted to add coverage of my engagement ring. From the beginning I found the employees disorganized and discourteous. I called to find out if they had received the appraisal, and they said they had. But after waiting for days to find out what was going on, I called again and it turned out they did not receive my letter and appraisal, stating they had me mixed up with someone else of the same first name. Attention to detail is rather important, as is prompt and friendly service– if you’d like these things to be a part of your experience, I would not choose this insurance company. Two months later I still haven’t gotten them to cover the ring. Time for a better insurance company.

Here is what I have come away with after three years with the wheeler agency:
1. Alan Wheeler is a fictional persona. He doesn’t exist. He is a stock photo.
2. State Farm’s prices are about 1.5 to 2x as expensive as GEICO
3. Alan Wheeler’s prices are 1.5x more expensive than what you can get on the State Farm website.
4. Maybe this is all state farm agencies, but they are an independent company that sells State Farm insurance, and I would guess they make a profit on every dollar they can put on top of the basic prices. Their e-​mails aren’t @statefarm.com, they are @wheeleragency.com
The whole thing has been borderline creepy, sketchy, unprofessional, and expensive. I give two stars because as far as I know (I never filed a claim) I did actually get insurance.

Came here to get homeowner’s insurance for the first time. Both times was served by knowledgeable and friendly agents — first Janet then Melissa. The whole process was easy and the price was very reasonable. For some reason I thought they might try to push coverage on me that I might not need but there was none of that going on. It’s a professional agency.

Alan Wheeler’s office was super professional. One of the best experiences with insurance companies I’ve ever had. Not only were they ontop of things when I was buying insurance. But when I actually had something go wrong and had to process a claim, they were there the whole way through. Thank you Alan and State Farm. You guys rock!
