I have to admit, I haven’t been to Aldo in years. I’m not really into trendy cheap shoes in leopard prints. I did however, find out about the Rise collection from Aldo. So, I decided to head downtown since I live near by. I spent a total of 10 minutes in the store. I walked in at 1:15PM today. No one greeted me. No one acknowledged my presence. No one asked me if I needed help. There were about 3 sales associates, that I could tell and about 20 people. Understood. They were running around everywhere. I immediately saw that what I was looking for, was probably not in the store. I stopped a young male sales associate. He said«I’m sorry man, I can’t stop.» I stood around with the rest of the puzzled folks. After 3 minutes or so, I asked another sales associate, a young woman for help. She walked away while I was talking. I had to show her a picture of the shoe on the company’s website and she informed me that they only sale those shoes in the City. Total waste of time. Info not found on the website. Totally chaotic store. No attention to customers. No attention to detail. No sense of empathy. No remorse. No stars from me and never coming back. Save your money and go find some Jimmy Choos on sale at Century 21.

Coming to Aldos is always on my «to do» list when im in NY… they have a huge selection of shoes and accessories that we dont have in California. This location is smaller than the store I normally shop at on the west coast tho… the young ladies/gents are always helpful upon entering the store. I luv it. be back soon Aldos!

This is the best store ever! My shoe(about a year old) ripped in an awkward spot. I went into Aldo to purchase a new pair of shoes. I mentioned the tear to the sales person(who was working super hard) and she told the manager. The manager called me over and said the tear must have been from a manufacturer defect. She let me pick whichever shoes I wanted and did an exchange. I didn’t pay a cent. Now that’s customer service!!! Awesome store– I usually buy Aldo shoes but now I will only purchase my shoes from this particular store.

These girls are wonderful. I walked in and said I was having a bad day and they took care of me. Because they knew I was going to spend money.

I was treated very kindly at this location when I went to buy a purse. The representative was attentive and accommodating. The cashier was polite, and articulate. Even though I had to wait a little longer than ideal to purchase my bag. The bag was beautiful. I received scores of compliments I paid $ 55 but it looked it cost $ 300.

Worst Aldo by far. Customer service sucks*. They don’t hold a lot of shoe sizes. Small selection of accessories. Overly priced merchandise.

While this Aldo is positioned towards the end(or beginning, depending on which way your traveling) of Fulton St. Mall it was pretty quiet when I stepped inside today. + The store was warm, which was nice because it was friggin’ cold outside. + The staff was eager to help. + And despite being a small location they had a lot of merchandise out, which is more than I can say about any mall Aldo store I’ve ever been into. While I won’t be running back here next time I’m searching for accessories(I still prefer SoHo’s Aldo locations) it’s a nice spot to stop into while walking around Fulton St & Downtown BK.

Typical ALDO shop– however this is a good thing, as sometimes Brooklyn locations don’t offer as good a selection as the Manhattan ones.(That being said, I would seriously say that this location is just as good as the one in Rockefeller Center.) The salespeople are friendly and they do follow the ALDO formula of making sure you feel welcome, and offering additional products to help maintain or improve the feel of your shoes. I don’t need anymore pairs of shoes, but I wouldn’t hesitate coming back here if I did.

I’ve searched high and low* in Downtown Brooklyn and of all the stores I’ve visited, Aldo has, by far, the best selection of men’s dress shoes. In addition, the staff(Crystal in particular), is eager to help and highly efficient thanks to their high-tech system** that none of the other Fulton Mall stores seem to employ. I asked if they had a pair in a size 10 and after a quick second, Crystal pleasantly confirmed that yes, they did. Then she brought them out to me in a timely manner. This sort of service could revolutionize the shoe industry. ___________ *OK, just at Macy’s and two other spots. That might just be low. **Read: electronic inventory. Really, it’s crazy that any store in the modern era goes without this.

Just walked in here the other day to buy some socks and was blown away by the selection of shoes and level of service. Despite the store having a flock of people and the staff looking a bit overwhelmed I was still greeted and offered help with what I needed. These guys(and gals) really know how to make someone feel welcomed. Even though I didn’t buy anything I still received a coupon for my next visit and was thanked for stopping by. Yea I am definitely going back. *cash and credit*
