If you want to look and feel your absolute best, please consider hiring Allison Perlstein to do your makeup. I have never felt more gorgeous in my ENTIRE life! Allison is very considerate of your wants/needs, and she offers some great beauty advice while she is at it. She is really great at what she does, and truly is an artist. Everyone commented on how pretty I looked at the wedding — which I contribute whole-heartedly to the work of Allison. Thank you Allison!

Allison is fantastic!
I found here on Unilocal,I think, in a desperate search to find a reasonably-priced makeup artist for my wedding (which I was planning over the course of 3 months so I didn’t have a ton of time to do research but also did not have a ton of money to spend).
Boy did I hit the jackpot!
Allison is a great and professional makeup artist. She really listens to what you want, is open to any changes (no matter how subtle), and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. She also has a calm energy which really helped on the day of my wedding when I started getting nervous :)
Highly recommended.

Allison is a gem. She listens carefully — I wanted a natural look, something that looked like me, just a touch better. That’s exactly what I got. She’s done makeup for a few professional events for me (TV interview, a speech) and I’ve been so happy with the result. She’s also lovely to be with — low key and friendly. Allison did my makeup for my wedding and let me just say, wow. She was amazing, she is truly an artist. Her attention to detail is not like anything I’ve ever seen before, and having done a LOT of performing, I’ve encountered quite a few make-up artists, but this was different. Allison is very thorough in her application, and the finished product was beautiful, natural but defined extremely well, and let me tell you, my make-up looked just as good at 4 in the morning as it did when she applied it. It even survived a Beyonce dance party! I would recommend Allison to anyone getting married… or any other important function where you would have photos taken, or just want to look great!
