Great pizza. Hits the spot when you’re in the mood for a hearty delicious cheesy slice of genuine Brooklyn kosher pizza. Highly recommended.

I used to work here when I was a teen a good 20 years ago. I will say that(back then any way) the place was clean, downstairs kitchen and everything. The food is very good and affortable. Amnon on the other hand is a real A. Horrible verbally abusive boss, stingy who tried to get out of paying you everytime. Not to mention that he hires illegalls and pays below minimum wage. What I went though there hunted me for years.

Amnon’s has to be eaten in the store, not ordered for delivery. If you want delivery buy his frozen pizza. The charmI’ve been coming to Amnon’s since I was teen. The pizza out of the oven is amazing. The crust is like down bread. Is it the best pizza? No but it is special and the people who eat and work there are special. The falafel is great as are the fries. Like any pizza place wait for the fresh pie out of the oven.

This was my first experience with NY pizza, and now I know why everyone says that the pizza in NY cannot be beat. Over two separate business trips to the area, I’ve eaten at Amnon’s about half a dozen times. Two slices for $ 5…can’t do better than that. The only thing is that this is a kosher restaurant so don’t go looking for the pepperoni.

I have been eating here for the past 25 years and its always the same great pizza and falafel. What I like about their pizza is the crust. Also make sure to try their tahini. They have a special recipe.

Pizzeria is unsanitary. It looks like a lot of the food has been sitting around for couple of hours. My in-law goes here and I refuse to go with them when they want pizza. The pizza is mediocre as well as the falafel they have. Stay away from here, if you do not want to have a stomach ache.

Great Pizza, I work across the street from them and have lunch 1 – 2 times a week there. The service is friendly and fast and they have a great variety. The Scicilian slice is huge and my favorite, next to the eggplant slice. Best in BP

Actually, I’m reviewing Amnon’s frozen pizza, which is TERRIFIC! I found it in the kosher freezer at my local Manhattan Associated Supermarket(the new, highly underused, practically secret one on Amsterdam between 99th and 100th Streets). It tastes as good as it looks on the box: real, Brooklyn pizza like I remember enjoying as a kid, nice thin crust, totally cheesy and seriously, the most like great pizza place pizza I’ve ever had out of my own oven. Btw, their website appears to be defunkt; I was originally going to kvell over the pizza to them there, but Unilocalers get the honor, instead.

I wish they had healthier options. Right now, it’s a plain-olé’ pizza joint, quite a good one at that.

I must say i thoroughly enjoyed this pizza! I liked the whole wheat slice the most and i even tried falafel which was ok. It’s not up to the standards that i have for my pizza but everything about it was fine and if i were in the area again i would have no problem stopping in.

Mmm. Delicious! Just ate there, and am taking the time to rate it instead of do work. Friendly, handsome boys behind the counter, quick service, and crazy busy. The mixed veggie calzone I got was(1) huge,(2) full of cheesy gooey goodness, and(3) my first calzone that will be making a repeat appearance in my belly. Whole wheat options, completely kosher, and just all around a nice place to get some food and sit and eat. Tons of room to sit too, so that’s a major plus. Definitely going to be bad news since work is only 2 blocks away.

A Boro Park staple. You think pizza in BP, Amnon’s is the place! Great pizza, falafel, desserts…, pizza rolls — YUM! This place has been around so long, because it’s great. Come during the day — say«hi» to Amnon. Great guy. His sons, are there too. Leon will make you killer falafel at night. You can even buy Amnon’s pizza in supermarkets now, but nothing like going in to the original spot.
