Sometimes, walking down Bedford feels like swatting through a swarm of boutiques and vintage clothing stores. Each one feels as impersonal, as uninteresting, and as filled with pretension and ennui as the next. But take a few steps off the beaten path, and you arrive at Antoinette. It’s cute, cosy, unpretentious, and– more importantly than anything else– is run by just about the nicest lady this side of the Mississippi. Lexi is a dream, her stock is cute and well-priced, and you’re going to be happy you walked the extra block.

THISPLACEISSOCUTE! The owner was so helpful & lovely– I got the cutest jumper that fits like a dream and is so unique. The owner even suggested other cute local businesses to continue the shopping journey for my friends and myself. The assortment is so eclectic and chic, but even cooler was how everything was styled. Truly a unique vintage experience… I just adore this little gem.

LOVELOVELOVE this boutique! I found it one day just riding my bike around Williamsburg! Not overwhelming at all, and very well curated vintage! I walked out with a pair of pants… and some history! The shop owner Lexi told me they were owned by her mom, and they were in pristine condition! So nice to find a place for mint condition vintage without paying an arm and a leg like other Williamsburg shops! This is a definite must!

I had the best experience ever here! I met the owner, who was very passionate about vintage clothing, patient with me as a newbie, and very attentive. She had a very nice selection that was well priced. I scored a beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo printed blazer for $ 45. It for me perfectly, and although it had a couple of small stains, Lexi talked me through how to get it handled at the cleaners. She gave me useful advice about making sure to inform the cleaners that it was vintage, 40+ years old, and to ask for an Eco friendly cleaner. Talking with Lexi was like talking with a good friend. She even recommended other vintage stores in the area, got out the local business map, and went through each store with me. After I left the store with my purchases, I returned because I had a personal emergency related to my AirBnB accommodations. I knew she would help, and help she did. I used the store phone to make a call, while she found a charger for my cell phone and introduced me to her friends. Even though I was a little frazzled and unable to truly express my appreciation, I can’t say thank you enough. Go to this store!

Found this little gem of a store during a long voyage of hitting as many vintage/thrift stores during my trip. Cute little hole in the wall. Although I couldn’t find anything during my visit, I’d definitely visit again. Here’s why: I had a very difficult time getting my earrings out(I had just pierced my ears) and Lexi was so sweet and helpful – she even asked her neighbor to come help me! She took really great care of me and made sure I didn’t feel pressured to make a purchase after my minor ordeal. Such kindness which is evidently reflected in the store and collection of clothes!

I have been shopping at Antoinette for the past two years now and can honestly say I probably wear one of the pieces I’ve bought from there everyday. Lexi is awesome and so are the other girls/friends she has working there. The prices are spot on and the quality is always damn near perfect. The shop also carries a great selection of local designers. As someone who wears vintage most of the time, it’s great to find some contemporary pieces that are beautifully made(i.e. Viva Aviva — seriously, check this line out). This is one of the top stores in Brooklyn, if not the city.

I love shopping at this store. You can tell the owner, Lexi, who is super sweet and conversational, takes the time to curate her collection in the store and neatly separates it by color and suggestive outfitting… making shopping less stressful in a resale environment. Prices are reasonable, the music is hip and modern and it’s nice to be able to find some interesting«locally-made» designer pieces vs. just shopping an all-vintage environment. I stopped in on a night where they apparently do frequent«pop-up» shops and there were free drinks and snacks. The vibe was super cool and I felt very comfortable hanging out. Totally a Williamsburg staple. Will definitely be back!

Definitely my fave vintage place in the neighborhood! I always find something unique that feels like it was made just for me –which is really what you want in vintage! The owner is super sweet and stylish, making treasure hunting in her store a pleasure. The frequent pop up markets hosted here are a must visit as well for handmade small batch designs. SHOPLOCAL!

Such a sweet store, with a solid selection of vintage dresses. The gal who runs the place is so helpful and has a backstory for every piece… I’m not typically into vintage since it often smells old. However, everything here was well kept without odor. If you are looking for something specific, call ahead, the lovely owner will check her archives in Jersey… I walked in on a day when everything was 50% off, so I splurged on two dresses for the price of 1. Already planning on returning.

Tiny little clothing stored situated on Grand just West of Berry. I happened in here cause a friend was hosting a small party, lubricated by some excellent kombucha. Whitney was very friendly, she poured me a drink, and suggested I look around. There was a small section of mens clothes in the back, plus some cufflinks & bowties. I don’t know if I can swing *that* hip, but they had some awesome stuff. Women’s sections make up the bulk of the store, and gorgeous items throughout. I think i’ll be back in here when it’s gift giving time again.

If I was a vintage fan, this would be my go-to shop. It’s cute, organized and charming! I found some cute dresses but I had a feeling that they’d be too big or too long on me. Everything seemed priced very fairly. Not sure if it was the owner working when I stopped by, but she was ridiculously sweet and striking up a conversation with each and every one of her customers. You rarely get to see that in NYC! Their window displays are always super cute.
