If you are looking for some exquisite food with impressive combinations– this is the place!
Anyway Café used to be a very popular place among Russian community, and still is.
It has a very authentic interior, that immediately sets the mood and relaxes the customers. The service is very obsequious and nice. What’s more pleasant, they really know their menu and food and are able to give good advice on the selection.
Their food is absolutely stunning. I had duck Raviolli, which were cooked perfectly and dresses with a very delicious frutty sause. I also had their avocado salad, which had a rich flavor and tastes like an actual dish, and not just the appetizer. They also have a good selection of soups and cocktails. Their bar is very very impressive.
The only little problem I had is that it’s relatively dark inside, which brings down the effect of the interior and for this particular place, for whatever reason, creates a bit depressing atmosphere.

Excellent experience, service is great. .we’re out of fried ice cream, but forgivable. Great live music in an elegant atmosphere. Delicious food and martinis that just have you wanting more. … highly recommended

Cool place to chill and listen to live music playing. A little over priced on the drinks but other then that it was a nice place

One of my favorite places in the Brooklyn sheepshead area. The skirt steak and chicken pasta is to die for. Come here pretty often. The drinks are pretty good. The place is small and cozy. Have been coming here for years. Great place for dinner.

I frequent all three café’s to see the great Jennifer Jade Ledesna perform. It’s always a treat to make your way to this quiet corner (which is normally bustling during the day), only to find yourself steps from some soothing, live music.
The place is really cute, with simple, but beautiful décor. Much like their Manhattan Beach location, the menu gets to the point with great options for all types.
Don’t forget to give their vodka infusions a try! The device is located right on the bar and it looks like modern art in its own right.

I love this place. Very low key, great food, and wonderful drinks. The décor is nice and it’s a great place to get together. They also have happy hour specials on weekday nights and their martinis are phenomenal!

I might of been expecting more than I bargained for when I walked in. Very nice looking place, very neat & polite staff, terrific young lady singer backed up by a gent on acoustic guitar. With all of that said, this place is not for me. I’m an older gentleman but I love music and couldn’t find a jukebox. No TV, and drinks were pricey. Clientele were nicely dressed and seemed to be enjoying themselves but it’s no Wheelers.

They had live jazz, the place was very clean, romantic and the food was great.
Thought it was little bit expensive but the experience was great.

This used to be the ultimate hang out when I was much younger in my late teens and early 20s.
I am glad to see this place is still around. Came here with a couple of friends for some late night food and a couple of drinks. Food was average I expected better and so were the drinks.
Surprisingly the bill was very fairly priced and the bartender and the waitress were friendly & flirty.
If you need to sit somewhere late night on a weekday and would like to stay local I def advice it.

Good place near by to relax with beer or organic stewed fruit…
you cant meet some one, cant take some girls, only listen live music and make choose what to drink… Beer is a lot for choise …

Who would’ve known that a little hole in the wall like this place would end up being such a gem in the neighborhood!
Pro’s:
Live music everyday after 9 pm
a great drink menu, from classic cocktails to funky ones I’ve never heard of, a good selection of wine’s and whiskey too
dim lighting, sets the mood, very chilled out
very clean place, even the bathroom was spotless
staff was very friendly, always there at your convenience, always serve with a smile
on Wednesdays you get a free bottle of champagne with your meal
on Mondays there is happy hour, and Tuesdays is ladies night!
the menu had a good variety, from salads, to chicken, steak, seafood, pasta dishes, sandwiches and dessert
the tomato and cheese appetizer was perfect, it had just the right amount of seasoning and balsamic vinegar, everything was fresh with a great presentation, they even threw some olives in there
the skirt steak was perfect, it was juicy and had some sort of glaze on it, and it came with salad and mashed potatoes which were airy and not too heavy and good seasoning, the steak was such good quality that I didn’t even need to use steak sauce
the prices were decent, salads were 8 – 13
entrees ranged from 14 – 25
in the summer they open their patio ;]
cons:
some of the staff barely speak English, for us it was no big deal since we were Russian, but for other customers this could be a concern
the place was cash only, and the atm inside the place charges 2.50 fee
the décor is confusing, its hard to understand the theme of this place, it seems like an old fashion saloon type of vibe.
the chicken caeser salad, came with no dressing, we had to ask the waiter for dressing and for plates since we shared everything, they thought we were going to just eat off the plate, total confusion when we told them from the start it was for the two of us. the chicken was rather bland too.
the portions are rather small to share, I left feeling a bit hungry
would I come back here? definitely, I have yet to try more things!

We had a party there.
— Stuff was professional and friendly, that’s we like definitely.
— Life music is a big plus. But sometimes they were too loud, so we had to rise our voices.
Now let’s talking about food.
Definitely-​definitely recommend Julienne. Everyone who will come to this café should try it at least once. That has really amazing taste; we ordered it twice for everyone.
Next. Some of us ordered Sauteed Shrimp with Dill Cream Sauce and Pasta. Well, it wasn’t bad, but there were only 5 shrimps, so we had to fill stomachs mostly with pasta. That was disappointed.
In the Braised Lamb Shank was too much of soy sauce. Actually that was the only you can taste in this entrée.
Can say nothing about their burger (didn’t try) but french fries??? (potatoes slices) that came with it were burn.
But Home-​Smoked Salmon Filet with Lemon Spinach was good.
So if I will come back there again, it will be just to eat Julienne. Or two of them.

Shout out to Svetlana the best bartender ever, got free drinks on the house that was a first, usually the other way around but hey I’ll take it.
On a side note whatever main course you get make sure to order fries it is a piece of heaven

Always good, skirt steak is amazing, music different and refreshing. Recommended.
