I don’t understand the positive reviews about customer service on here. I ordered some products ten days ago, got a confirmation email, saw the charge pending in my account and nothing has even shipped yet. I’ve called several times and no one ever answers the phone. I’ve left a message and no on has returned my call. This was supposed to be a 40th birthday gift for my sister and now it is horribly late. I will never ever order from this company again.

I live in DC, but I order all of my skin care products from Apothecarie online. They have a pretty new website, but I usually still end up calling to get some guidance since they give such great advice and insight on the products and your individual daily regimen.

Came to a Unilocal Elite event here last year (one of the best events I’ve been to so far). We all got individual skin consultations, recommendations and left with samples.
After a facial gone wrong in 2011, I’ve been very afraid of skincare products and have stuck with Cetaphil since then. But I came back today after trying one of the samples to get it in full-​size. Alison was extremely friendly and I left the store with a new batch of samples. This place is a little out of the way for me (1 hour+ on the subway) but so worth it and they’re open on Sundays!
Can’t wait to try my new goodies – will be back.

UPDATE: So I wrote a bad review the other day based on an unfortunate misunderstanding and experience. I have since then spoken with the head of the company, who was very happy to resolve the situation with me. He explained in detail what went wrong and even comped me on a $ 90 product and gave me a 20% discount on what should have been a $ 300 order! I’ve used this company before many times when it was under another name for years. I love Obagi and I’ve always trusted this place from which to purchase this amazing product. I am waiting for my shipment, which, by the way, usually comes with lightning speed. I’m glad I was able to happily resolve this misunderstanding and I will be using this company for years to come!

They have a really great selection of hard to find lines (like Skyn Iceland) and I’ve always been very happy ordering from them online. The staff I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helpful too.
My bit of advice: CHECK THE HOURS. Really, who closes at 2pm on a Friday? I incorrectly assumed that they were open until 7pm today like most other days (I’d called and asked a few days earlier and didn’t think it would be any different today). Had I checked the hours before I could have saved myself two hours on the train out to the middle of nowhere. I got there at 2:10pm to find that I’d taken the trip for nothing so I’ll probably stick to ordering from them online because the trip doesn’t seem worth it to me, even if they do happen to be open.

Really beautiful and clean space with tons of products to try. I found their skin evaluation very helpful and they’ve really helped me with my skin! It’s a little off the beaten path but I would go back for sure!
