Charlie made my idea come to life!
I needed a hat made for a costume I was putting together. I was doing a crossover of Princess Peach and hip hop, and wanted her crown airbrushed on a hat for a cosplay party. I wasn’t able to go in store to place the order, so I filled out the form they have on their website. In about 2 hours, I received a phone call from a girl at the shop. We went over all the details together. I didn’t have the hat I needed, but they carry lots of items in store (tshirts, hats, bags, etc.) — so I also requested a pink trucker hat. I also made sure to ask what shade of pink the hat was, to avoid any issues later. And I must also note its a good idea to be very clear and detailed about what you want. Not that theres any issues with Art Of Your Mind– it’s just a good idea when dealing in custom, artistic work.
I was told the hat would take a few days to do, so I set a pick up date and time. On the date of pick up, I arrived a few hours after my pick up time to the mall. I first went to their store on the second floor in Green Acres Mall. A girl there told me that my pick up order would be in their workshop downstairs. I headed downstairs to their second location in the mall, which is much bigger. The moment I walked in, I saw a girl showing off an item she just picked up. I must say– seeing that had me relieved.
My order was ready, and I of course was asked if everything looked good– which it totally did! I was so happy with it– I literally had no words. It was some kind of magic to see something in my head, and then to have it physically in my hands.
The artist who made my hat, Charlie, happened to be there when I picked up the hat. He was really sweet and wanted to make sure I was happy with the design. I totally was and my hat was the talk of the party!

I am a total control freak, so I was bit hesitant to give my idea to the artist and just let him do it without me micromanaging the whole thing. So I was super specific about what I wanted done. The nurse was very patient with me lol. I got a onesie done for my friend’s newborn and when I picked it up I was beyond excited. It was pretty awesome. She loved it too. I would say if you need something unique, go here. They were fast too and have reasonable prices for custom type of thing.

Very disappointed with this place. This store refused to do my shirt because I wanted to write «Free Palestine». They said «I’m sorry, we’re not picking sides or anything but we can’t work on your shirt cause it has to do with politics» …um what happened to Freedom of Speech? No where in the policy it states they can’t do shirts because of «political reasons».
