The bread I bought today was molded(impossible to tell since the mold was covered by the packaging).

Great beer selection and growler fill station offering beers from around the world at a decent price, some of the items could be a bit cheaper. The groceries are reasonably priced and the selection is large. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This isn’t the closest grocery store to me but I will gladly walk further to Associated for the experience.

If you know your prices, then you would know what is high and what is comparable. For the most part most of the prices are competitive and therefore, makes this store a good bargain in the neighborhood. I didn’t like paying $ 2.99 for a stalk of celery but then I got a dozen of large eggs for $ 1.99 which was the manager’s special. Watch and know your prices customers!

I often see moldy produce. Once I came back a couple of days later and moldy pieces was in the same spot on fixture. Which means they’re not going through their stuff as often as they should. I wonder if they turn the freezers off at night because many of their items becomes frosted over and you can tell from the boxes that it wasn’t always frozen. And you can hardly find price tags on anything! And keep an eye while at the checkout. Too often, my stuff rings up at the wrong prices. Besides that, huge selections on just about everything. And always clean-except for the moldy products.

1. GREAT beer selection, plus growlers if you’re into that. 2. I get overcharged for something almost every time I go. At least they’re nice about reimbursing for the overcharged items. 3. Pretty good selection overall and you can get decent deals, but again you have to be vigilant about watching the register. Four stars for the beer and the convenience but I shop elsewhere for basics.

Overpriced. Bought ground beef today and it was spoiled. Horrible. Didn’t bother going back just took it as a lesson to never grocery shop in Brooklyn. Cheaper and fresher in the city.

Had an issue with some bad meat. The manager was extremely courteous and professional. This is officially my roommates and mines grocery spot. Staff is really nice too

Lapin and I passed here when visiting the Crabby Shack and decided to pop in. The store has a decent selection but we couldn’t peruse all the aisles as the store was closing. Although, we didn’t know it was closing as they made no announcement — would have been nice to know before being stuck in a store overnight. The prices are decent and definitely a lot cheaper than in Lapin’s neighborhood. We were able to get fresh herbs for $ 1.99 instead of the $ 4.25 we usually pay.

BEWARE! Every single time I have been to this store there has been an issue with sale items not ringing up correctly at the register. First time I was like, ok simple mistake happens all the time. Now it’s happened EVERYTIME I am starting to think it’s part of their plan to trick the customers into paying more. CHECKYOURPRICESPEOPLE, THEYARERIPPINGYOUOFF!

As others have said, maybe not prominently enough, the beer selection is fantastic, period. I’m giving this place a two though because the prices are bordering extortion. If you’re looking at the good craft beers, they are up to 75% higher than you could possibly find them. Major rip off.

As far as neighborhood NYC supermarkets go, this one is pretty decent. Obviously the choices for real food are limited here, but there are regularly sales on staples like milk, juice, and so on. What really sets this place apart is its walk-in beer refrigerator, which features a ton of domestic craft beer at reasonable prices. What’s best, there are always a dozen manager’s sales to choose from. There’s also a growler refill station.

Over-priced as nicer grocery stores in NYC tend to be, but clean, new, and much larger than most grocery stores in the neighborhood. Has organic as well as off-brand items, and I’ve noticed a lot of the organic stuff on sale. It also has a pretty nice and well-stocked walk-in beer fridge. After realizing Associated is around the corner from me it’s become my new go-to grocery store when I don’t have time to go to the bk Trader Joes.

Check out the NEWASSOCIATEDMARKET. They have really come into the neighborhood and renovated the store. It is clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are competitive. Fresh fruit and vegetables and a good selection. Many of which are organic. If you request an item they will definitely get it for you. Did you see that new area for those that indulge?
