I recently visited this restaurant and I enjoyed it very much. The service there was excellent and the food there was also very tasty. They had a variety of things to choose from on the menu with reasonable prices. I would recommend this place, just leave ample time for parking.

I’m from San Francisco, but I’ve been here twice because my grandma likes it. First time, I got fish and chips that were too greasy to enjoy(it’s possible!) Second time, I got mac and cheese, which is actually a misnomer. It was ziti, and it was American cheese, which isn’t really cheese. It was rubbery and not worth eating. For those who eat non-kosher, Easy Mac and Pasta-Roni are less toxic-tasting. And how were the other plates? One person’s salad didn’t come with dressing; someone else ordered their omlette with potatoes and got salad. The veggie burger(which I tried) was ok, but it came in a dry pita. The pasta pomodoro looked like it had no cheese on it. The baked potato with broccoli and cheese looked good. The pea soup was good. It took about 45 minutes for the food to come, and there were only 6 other people in the restaurant. Extra star because their health rating went from a B to an A. Yay.

i had previously ordered takeout from there, and decided to visit again. I saw that they offered 2 sushi rolls for $ 5, or $ 2.99 each. They offered avocado, mango, and cucumber rolls. When I ordered a mango roll and an avocado roll, I was told the total was $ 6 plus tax. The man behind the counter told me that the 2/$ 5 special is only applicable if the same roll is ordered twice. That of course is not written anywhere on the menu board. I revised my order, and will never set foot in there again. I wonder if I’d have received better service if I’d have walked in wearing a yarmulke and tallis looking like an orthodox Jew.

When the Israeli man answers the phone, he is extremely rude! I order there 4 times a week since I work near by and this guy has a legit attitude problem. When the women answer they’re very sweet & helpful. The other day he forgot an appetizer on my order, so when I called & told him, I was told«You didn’t say you wanted that & I’m way too busy to send it over! Besides, I’m doing you the favor by delivering to you» Who in their right mind talks to a customer like this?! Go talk to your wife like that!!! Last time I checked, the customers are doing YOU the favor by giving you business! You officially lost customers until you get an attitude adjustment, pal!

Food was really good from here. We ordered a large order to go. so I cant speak to their service for this time, but in the past it was good. When I ordered to go, after I paid, the owner suggested If I wanted to wait in the car they can bring the order to me. Very nice service. What did concern me was the C rating from the dept of health. after I got the order. The food and service was really good… but that C. has me thinking twice. The place did look clean though…

I went to this place recently because I had gone once before & liked it. The food was good like the last time & the place was clean. What I did not like was when I got the bill, it had a «mandatory tip» of 18% inserted. I asked the cashier about that & she said that’s how it is always done there. I inquired with NYc Dept of consumer affairs & they told me that anything over 15% has to be noted on tbe menu which it was clearly not. They refused to budge. I paid it & they lost a good customer.

To echo the previous reviewer the pea soup is great. The whole wheat pizzas are awesome. The pastas are very nice. The décor is lovely. The service is great. The owner was out front when we walked in kibbitzing with his hostess in that fatherly way of an older Jewish man. It really felt like home, but the food was so much better.
