I’ve been there on numerous occasions and the quality is always fresh and great. It’s the perfect place to grab a snack or you can use them for catering like Bay Academy does. Overall, the service is great and as is the food.

Great bagels and coffee. Only thing keeping it from a 5 is the sometimes really long wait on line. Maybe hire some more people to take orders during busy times? Another system to take orders? Other than that, I love their near perfect bagels.

Bagel Boy has been my go-to bagel store since they started on ocean ave. Their bagels have always been the best in the area. Crusty outside, fluffy inside and MASSIVE, they are exactly what a Brooklyn bagel should be. And anyone who knows Bagel Boy knows about their famous chicken salad, which is insanely delicious, is enough to draw me there regularly. Bagel Boy, I love you. I’ve been to all 3 locations in Sheepshead, Bay Ridge and Old Bridge. All delicious. But I have one serious gripe that keeps you from getting 5 stars. Your new(ish) electronic order delivery/pos system takes your counter guys 5x longer to take an order now, especially the language-challenged dudes, and the wait is TERRIBLE. So much so, that I now walk out at least twice a week because the line is so long and slow. You’re losing business. Fix it.

Ordered Delivery today. I ordered 1 light sesame bagel with lox and cream cheese and another well-done seams bagel scooped out with lox, cream cheese, onions and capers… Then a side of pasta salad and a pizza bagel. I had her repeat it to me three times since she got it wrong the first time. It was our day off and I really wanted to enjoy breakfast. After 65 minutes waiting for this delivery it comes WRONG! They put lox spread on my husband’s bagel. He hates lox spread and my pasta salad was all stale. Breakfast down the drain. I called back and the girl admitted she wrote lox cream cheese and put me on hold. I waited and waited and then hung up… No call back or anything. Not cool bagel boy! Terrible customer service. Going elsewhere

Great bagels. I really love the egg bagels they have here. Kind of hard to find a good one in other bagel places.

I hired Bagel Boy to cater an event for 95 people recently. The man who handled the order, Mike, was great. He flat out told me that I was over ordering and that a smaller order would more than meet my needs. He was right, too! We had more than enough food, coffee, and paper products for the event. The order was delivered exactly on time and the delivery guy helped me carry everything into our event space. And, to top it off, everything looked and tasted delicious. Several people at the event commented on the quality and asked where we had ordered from. It was just perfect! Needless to say, I will be catering with them again very soon!

The best bagels hands down. The long line speaks for itself. Who wants a bagel from a store with no one in it at 10am in the morning? The gray haired guy can be annoying sometimes but he means well. Staff is always happy and ready to serve you. Nothing but quality up in this place and if you’re a fan of tuna salad, you’ll buy never buy tuna from another place again.

The food at Bagel Boy is always good. The line is always soooooo long though. Sometimes it’s worth the wait, compared to other bagel shops in the area.

My dad’s side of the family live in Brooklyn and my family recently visited. They brought me home a dozen bagels from Bagel Boy and I’m loving them. There are a few random places I want to try in the Boston area, but if they don’t compare, I’ll have Bagel Boy ship me a dozen.(I’ll pay for delivery charges) Thank you!

We were extremely dissapointed in service and quality of food we have received this Sunday morning 845 am… This used to be one of my favorite breakfast places but today we had the lay straw. I have ordered tasted egg bagel with egg salad and my boyfriend got toasted poppy seed bagel with bacon egg and cheese … We paid and went home to eat the food only to find out my bagel wasn’t toasted or scooped out and tasted disgusting, my boyfriends bacon egg and cheese was clearly made out of ale eggs and cheese and bacon was rubbery and also was not toasted like we asked we will not be returning to this establishment which is sad because I have given it years of my business

I’ve always loved going to Bagel Boy. The atmosphere is awesome and the employees are just as awesome. There’s usually a little wait if you get there early or mid afternoon, But the food is well worth the wait! I’ve been back a million times. The food is great. I get my all time favorite every time. Everything Bagel with cream cheese. I suggest trying everything else as well! Don’t get the bacon potato chips, They’re awful lol.

good bagels, good food, fairly quick service even for a line that stretches 20 deep sometimes. coffee is usually on point but parking is tough. They make rainbow bagels but they cost $ 2.50 each and funfetti cream cheese which is $ 8.99/lb(expensive) but hey, once in awhile for the kids, sure.

Delicious bagels, sandwiches, iced tea and orange blossom muffins. But the line it kills me I feel like they have a lot of people and yet the line still moves pretty slow sometimes. I think maybe they to implement an online ordering system or something.

I used to like this place better a few years ago. Nevertheless, out of the hundreds of bagel shops in Brooklyn, this one is still up there for me. Lots of variety in bagels and spreads. They also have sandwiches, soups, salads and of course coffee which is yummy. Always a long line, whether you come earlier or later but it moves fairly fast. There is a sit down area which you have to get lucky to grab, other than that there is not much room otherwise, so grab your bagel to go. Last few times I went there, my bagel was not warm and tasted kind of bland.

Nothing like a Bagel Boy Bagel in the morning! There’s no secret here that Bagel Boy is the cream of the crop of bagel shops in Sheepshead Bay. On weekend mornings, the shop gets crowded with a line almost out the door so that’s a clear sign of what the neighborhood thinks of it. If you’re a cream cheese on a bagel guy like me then you’ll love the variety of flavored bagels and cream cheese they have, specifically the blueberry bagel and walnut raisin cream cheese! Yes, you read that right! It’s a combination that my girlfriend turned me onto and I have been hooked on it ever since. She introduced me into a new level of bagel with cream cheese and I now see the light! It’s one of the best breakfast bagel combinations I’ve EVER had. If you’re more of a warm/hot foods on a bagel, roll or croissant person they also serve those here too. And they make them pretty dang well! You can order eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, cheese on any one of those. The eggs are always cooked perfectly and the melted cheese just tops it off. Despite the long lines, service is always swift here so don’t get discouraged when you walk thru those doors on weekend mornings. It’s well worth the 10 – 15 minutes of waiting for that breakfast goodness!

Love this place. Great bagels!!! If you have the opportunity to Come at 5am when this place first opens up I highly suggest it. The bagels are extremely fresh and soft at that time. The wraps are also incredible and the salads are yummy! Also the iced cappuccino is bomb!

I hate that I love bagels so much. Thankfully Bagel Boy is close and convenient. Street parking is available and the B/Q trains are just around the corner. The place is very spacious, with about 10 seats if you want to quickly chow down your food. The workers are very nice and efficient. Although lines may get really long, they move extremely quick. With over 10 different types of bagels and cream cheese, I just can’t get enough of it. I just to mix up the combination of bagel and cream cheese and they have never failed me. They also offer salad, soup, and other types of sandwiches. They have a whole wall of drinks, some desserts, and some boxed foods. There are also a variety of snacks, from chips to dried fruits. Give it a try — it’s worth it!
