Bambino Pizza

Absolutely the best pizza NYC has to offer ! I have lived in the area for over 20 yeas and I’m extremely excited to have such a nice place to grab a good quality slice with such an amazing & friendly staff. The pizza is so good that even though I moved to Astoria two months ago every Friday I still travel to Bushwick just to have their pizza!
A must have are their chicken rolls! They are to die for! Im one that is not a fan of pizza sauce or now tomato sauce but for some reason the way that the sauce is created here I can just eat the sauce by it self!!!
I would seriously recommend this place to anyone. They get a 5 star recommendation for their food … 5 star recommendation for their service & 5 star for their cleanliness! Just scrolling down reading the other reviews this place is well recommended with the exception of one dude. Which btw when I saw the his comment below I was in complete disbelief && I completely disagree with him ! Not sure what a bright light in the backyard has to do with pizza But I guess you can’t satisfy everyone! Just by reading his comment you can tell the guy definitely has some issues … You know what the say Misery loves company. It’s his lose in the long run … && I’m positive his negativity won’t have any affect on this great establishment ! Hope this review was helpful! See Bambino’s tomorrow evening!!!

Lived in the neighborhood a while, and so glad to have a place to get a slice of pizza. The backyard lighting situation has never effected the taste of my delicious pizza, I’ve never been physically assaulted by what seems to be a very friendly staff, and I can say I’ve never paid attention to the employees hands (and never will).

I have serious issues both with the owner and the way he treats his neighbors, as well as their preparation of food.
Issues you as a potential customer should be concerned with:
1. They do NOT wear gloves, I have eaten here a few times each time I noticed people handling food without gloves. This is a health code violation and should earn them an F rating.
The real horror story of how the owner got in my face and nearly attacked me:
2. They have recently has some security issues. Apparently they do not have an alarm and someone tried to break in. The owners solution to this is to get a camera and 7 or 8 EXTREMELY bright lights, that light the backyard area ²⁴⁄₇. This backyard is overlooked by my bedroom window. Lately I have been loosing sleep, even with heavy curtains.
I went in last night to let the manager know this was a problem and politely asked him to shut them off at night. To which he replied «no I don’t have to» and that they are there for security reasons. I asked if he had an alarm, to which he said no, I don’t have to buy one… Fair enough but I explained that I’ll do what is within my rights as a citizen and contact both his landlord, and 311as much as I have to until he shuts them off. There are about 20 houses that abut this backyard area and I’m sure I’m not the only one effected by this. I told him that if he didn’t want to play nice things would get ugly, meaning the types of CIVIL and legal action i said I would take.
At this point the bambino himself got ENRAGED, came out from behind the counter and got in my face in a physically threatening manner which amounts to physical assault.
This is not the kind of business we want in our neighborhood, this is not a neighbor, nor a friend. Save your money for Tony’s pizza up the street off myrtle its about 300% times better and they wont try to assault you if you have a legitimate complaint. Oh yea… and they wear gloves.

My family and i are absolutely hooked on Bambino’s fantastic tasting Pizza. Bambinos understands the art of pizza making, fresh ingredients. My kids adore Bambino’s classic cheese pizza and meatball parm hero. My wife and i enjoy their addictive vegetable pizza and their succulent desserts. Stop it in and experience what Bambinos has to serve, happy eating…
