Made a stop at Belarus due to the recommendation of my mom and was very happy that I paid attention to her. Belarus is a simple neighborhood grocery store except for the fact that it is russian and the best part… open 24hrs. Being a russian grocery is what had me curious about this grocery for some years now. For the first few years of their opening I would go here only for their baltika beer and white chocolate with almonds, mainly because I could not read anything and did not know what most of the food items were. That is why I always stayed away from the actual food and that turns out to have been a mistake. I always loved russian food(from café glechik and tatiana on the boardwalk) and the smells coming from this grocery were always amazing. Finally the other day my mom said you must try their chciken and potatoes! I went in, grabbed myself a container and filled it with assorted chunks of meat, a big piece of chicken and potatoes. The cost goes by weight and the photo you see came to about $ 9.50. Went back to my place, platted it up and oh my goodness, it was so delicious! I definitely suggest trying the food here. There are foods I want to try the next time I am lost about what to do for dinner. Love the russian beer and russian food, all delicious. The russian people have always been high on my list as people who know how to eat and party. When you have the food from Belarus on your plate, you will be glad that you do.

There’re places with better prices & freshness for the same food, but it’s an extremely convenient store for your late-hour needs, as it’s opened 24⁄7.

The food is buffet style in the middle of a grocery store. Everything in Russian. It’s kind of guess what you are eating game
