Gil Hodges is a very depressing place to go bowling. There are not too many lanes around anymore so maybe I shouldn’t help one of the last into its grave but honestly I don’t even mind the very boring and sparse décor, the lack of good balls, the way they set you up right on top of other bowlers even when no one is there. But what I do mind is that the customer service sucks. I asked for some tap water after purchasing food and was told i needed to buy a bottle. I asked for a ball that my 10 year old cousin could handle and was told to look around. C’mon. Plus the food is gross. Like worse than if I just went to costco and brought some frozen food bad.
