BILLY’S pizza has a very good slice of pizza that I call my favorite, I been eating it there since 2009 is the Buffalo slice. Cut in half with extra blue cheese and Hot sauce cost started out at $ 3.25 and is currently $ 4.83. But they customer service is the worst I have seen since I been to this country. I don’t want to say maybe racism has sown thing to do with it. But long story short even after the owner tried to run me by tamping my food unless unfriendly customer service the younger brother finally ask me not to come back to the store. So if I had to rate the food assuming you know the cook very well on a scale from one to ten it would be a 9 and if I had to also rate the customer service with the same scale they would get a –7. As to meaning the worst I ever experienced.

Been a while since I wrote a review, so let’s get started. The cheese pizza & garlic knots seems like the only thing that taste yummy, large cheese go for about $ 13, wanted to try something different so I ordered some mozzarella sticks and let’s say the I didn’t expect the turnout. the marinara taste yucky plus the mozzarella sticks were so bland and soggy ! Customer service let’s say the guys that work there were more interested in there their looks than the quality of pizza, lots of seating word advice call ahead to order kills the wait !

Ordered delivery for the first time tonight. Pizza got here in 30 minutes, nice and hot. I just went simple and got a cheese pizza so I could try it out. Crust was perfect; pie was very tasty. Garlic knots were yummy too, not overly salty or too garlic-y like you sometimes get. Best delivery option I’ve found so far in Crown Heights. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

I happen to be in the area because I was waiting on my son to go get a haircut so I stopped by. I actually enjoyed the pizza. It’s hard to get a good slice of pizza in New York now a days. I will definitely visit there again.

Really unsure why Billy’s has some bad reviews, it truly is a great pizza joint. I’ve ordered pizza from here many, many times and am never disappointed. Even after trying another pizza spot close by I realized how great Billy’s is compared to other places. The pizza is always delicious, the staff is always super friendly(both in person and on the phone). I’ve never had them deliver because I live quite close, so it seems pointless to have them walk two blocks to hand me my pizza. Honestly if you’re complaining that their delivery is slow why don’t you get up and get it yourself? Just makes no sense if you live so close. Anyway, overall a great pizza place.

Oh Billy’s. I want to love you, I do. Because it’s one of the few options in the neighborhood, Billy’s doesn’t really have any competition. That being said, I usually get the veggie slice, which is piled high with veggies, including eggplant. It’s an ok slice. Nothing to text about, it’s a lot of food, but the flavor doesn’t really pack any punch. I’ve also had the grandma slice and it was so so. Between the television cranked up too loud and the radio playing nonstop Christmans tunes, it’s not the best place to relax and decompress. It’s ok if you want to get full of off something. If you can, fill up at Ramagi on Rogers instead.

Got Clam Sauce spaghetti and antipasto salad. I kind of have my doubts the pasta was actually whole wheat since it didn’t look or taste like it– but that aside, cooked perfectly. Tasted great. Antipasto salad, still not completely done with but the bits I took off were good and it was all fresh. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Delivery: I was just starting to wonder if I should call them or not around the 30 minute mark after online order. But I was super impressed the delivery guy actually walked up to my door instead of barking at me to come down! Call me old school, but that was a nice touch.

Not worth it. Avoid this trap at all costs. This place looks real nice and the pizza isn’t bad but it’s a suped up dollar slice spot that charges 3x the price for not significantly better slices. Go to Tony’s on Nostrand and Union if you can. It’s a better slice for the price.

The bruschetta wrap is sooooo good the flavor is amazing. And it’s only 5.95 Get it! This neighborhood doesn’t have the best options but this is one of my go to places since I work in the hood

I only read the reviews after ordering pizza and it sounds the company doesn’t have a very high customer service attitude. It is New York… that makes sense most places, it seems. But I had a good experience. I ordered online and 2 minutes later I got a call to let me know they were out of whole wheat crust and confirmed my special request for less of certain toppings and more of others. I told them plain was fine and 40 minutes later I had a hot pizza in my hands from a nice delivery guy. The pizza has more and less of the corresponding toppings and I am a satisfied customer. I will buy from here again, until I get stiffed. Because frankly this is Lefferts Gardens and we don’t have a lot of choices out here.

Solid pizza place in the neighborhood that doesn’t have many pizza places. This is my go to spot for pizza when I’m at home. Overall, pizzas are fresh and tasty. Crust is crisp on the bottom and soft and chewy on top. I do like the buffalo chicken pie with tomato…

Pizza is good, but delivery took almost 1.5hrs although I live 2 blocks away(fair disclosure, their advertise 30−45mins on the website). Maybe this is trivial, but that irks the s*** out of me…

First time I ordered here, it was heavenly. Maybe it was because I was starving and craving pizza, but I haven’t had a good experience since then. A few weeks ago I ordered a large pepperoni and black olive pizza. My parents were in town and I was trying to impress them with some really good neighborhood pizza since they’re right around the corner. Nearly an hour later, we get a call from them saying they’re out of olives. Fair enough(maybe?), so we wait some more. 20 minutes later I call them back to ask where the hell our pizza is. She said it just went out the door and 5 minutes later we get the pizza. It was soggy, not very hot, and they still charged me 2.00 for the olives they didn’t have. Never again.

I’m writing this review with GREAT disappointment. Before I start– Im posting this review on menupages, Unilocal, and wherever else I can in hopes that the owner/management reads this. First of all– when made correctly, the food here is pretty good compared to the rest of the neighborhood. It’s the only reason they even got a star from me. But their service SUCKS, and they can’t get an order right ever– even when I use their ordering site, which is just inexcusable. if the order is typed out, you’re staff can’t feign they misunderstood me on the phone, so I figure they just can’t read. On multiple occasions now my order has arrived half incorrect, missing items, or just totally wrong. Secondly, their delivery is just damningly slow. My order took an hour and a half tonight. ON A MONDAY. I dot live far away either. And when I called to see if everything was ok, the phone girl was just rude. Billy’s: if your staff was even remotely competent, and cooks could read an order you’d have kept my business. However, their inability to do their job has helped me decide I no longer wish to waste money bill go out of my way and pick up pizza elsewhere or just order sushi next time.

Whoa! Has anyone checked out Billy’s latest restaurant inspection Info on (health & mental hygiene category)? Their last inspection was on 3÷21÷11 and had 48 violation points!!! Per , «An inspection score of 0 – 13 is an A, 14 – 27 points is a B, and 28 or more points is a C.» They got 48 points people! I recommend going to the site and reading the details yourself. Just note that one violation said«Personal cleanliness indequate.» Billy’s, please fix this and fast! Ugh, I’m not going back until they are well into the A category.

I’m giving this 5 stars for a few reasons. First– they really are the best pizza place in the area– I defy you to find a better one, seriously. The fresh mozzarella pizza is the way to go here and it’s pretty damn good. Yes, there’s a lot of sauce, but I ain’t complaining– I’m a sauce lover. Secondly– if you order Hawaiian pizza here, or ANYWHERE in NY– you deserve what you get– who orders pizza with pineapple??? Please– just order a fruit salad next time, dude. The knots are for garlic lovers only– I’ve never had a more garlickly knot in my life. Little knots of garlic love– not for the faint of heart. They’re small(5 for $ 1) so just get 2 orders. I’m mad at myself– I’ve lived here since 1999, and Billy’s came here on 2007. This is the first time I finally got around to trying them(we were ordering from Cataldo’s in PH), so I’m disappointed in myself for not having tried them sooner. They make take a while for delivery(they said 45 min and they held true) — food was hot though, and we’re more than a few blocks away. By FAR the best pizza in Crown Heights!!!

Worst pizza I’ve ever had. Maybe if I’d kept it simple with a cheese or pepperoni it wouldn’t have been as bad. But I had the Hawaiian pizza instead and ended up throwing it out it was that disgusting. The sauce had no flavor, the pineapples were obviously old or from a can or something, and there was way too much ham. I also had the Bruschetta and the bread was disgustingly soggy. I guess I’ll have to keep looking for a pizza place in this ‘hood.

So you want cheesy, greasy, sauce full, slabs of pizza? Then you’ll like Billy’s. My room mate used to order take out for every meal and this was one of his three go to places so I’ve experiences Billy’s pizza a few times. First off, it takes a while for delivery– about 45 minutes or so. The pizzas, whether they are just cheese or with toppings, are always chock full of cheese with a little too little sauce and thin crust. Although some say there’s never enough cheese, there is enough if the quality of it isn’t the best. For the Crown Heights area this is a good place to order delivery/take-out from– but there is definitely also better pizza around.

hands down, best pizza in crown heights with an ample selection of rice balls, pastas, baked entrees, heros, salads, calzones, plain, gourmet, pan, and sicilian pizzas. i especially like the Grandma pie: it has the perfect combination of thin crust, garlic, cheese and sauce, and fresh basil. considering the standard of nyc pizza vs. the relative pizza mirages in this area, the 4-stars is practically a no-brainer!
