New York has an abundance of things to do. It’s New York! Don’t tell that to my mom though. Her first stop when visiting is always Bobby’s. She’s been obsessed with the store for years and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to finally get it. You can find basic household needs like soap and batteries and other great gems like pots and pans.
It can sometimes be a bit of a mas house so prepare and brace yourself accordingly.

If you need little odds and ends for your home Bobbys is great. I picked up an over the door coat rack for like $ 9, same one was on amazon for $ 15. I needed a bundt pan, $ 4. I needed some hangers, $ 2. Prices are generally better than the $ 1 store next door. It’s a great resource when looking for ok quality goods in a pinch.

Amazong place for bargains. But, buy it when you see it in stock. Most items sell out within a day. Staff is overworked, but nonetheless pleasant and helpful.

Had the worst experience at bobby’s today!!! I made a purchase on the Friday before Christmas and in all the Christmas rush didn’t realize, I got charged twice for the same product.
Decided to take the receipt back today 12/28/2012 and because the cashier (runa) didn’t remember me I was told am lying! Such bull what cashier remembers those things!!! The customer service sucks and if the cashiers would mind their business and stop talking it would go much smoother. I didn’t get back my money and a headache.

Just across the street from the ever –popular clothing store for guys and gals of all ages is the home goods store of its kind!
Stopped in and this location, is much brighter, livelier and modern then its counterpart.
Prices are definitely reasonable for the items you’re surely looking for – even though you didn’t know you were looking for them (I know I’m not the only one)
Picked up a six-sided cheese grater for $ 1.99. it was interesting fitting it into my luggage but I“m glad I was able to pick it up!
Perfect location to find home stuff at a very reasonable price!
