They are pretty pricey, I have had very little help from the staff. After very little help, i took there suggestion and was not thrilled.

It’s pricey, yes, but there are some reasonable choices too. I really enjoyed the friendly guidance offered by one of the owners regarding dessert wines and I REALLY liked the little cat sleeping in a basket. Am I basing my review on the fact that I like kitty cats with wet noses? Maybe. But this place is also a wonderful wine shop with a great selection.

Great wine store. Good prices. Beautifully decorated. The owners know their stuff! I learned so much from a wine tasting party we had. I will definitely be back!

If you are ever in the Redhook area, please make it your business to visit this wonderful store. First and foremost the owner Trishann is very sweet and social and the lady knows her wines! Vino holds wine and cheese tastings paired with Fairway, so do keep posted when these events do come around. The store is beautiful, and do make sure that you visit the downstairs section; just amazingly decorated. Swing by to pick up a bottle of your favorite wine or let Trish help you explore something new. :)

Not a huge fan. The wines are pricier than Dry Dock and not as well curated in my opinion. Also, a guy working there tried to hard sell me on $ 40 bottle for prosecco for mimosas. That was quite insulting. The woman that works there is very sweet and helpful, but I tend to just go to Dry Dock down the street.

I live in Williamsburg and found this place when I made a trip to Ikea recently. As soon as my girlfriend and I got home and tasted one of the bottles that Trish Ann(sp?) recommended I made plans to go back the following weekend. I really appreciate the fact that this place has an inviting atmosphere, a super nice staff, AND reasonably priced wines that will blow your mind. Seriously, if you’re in the $ 10 — $ 20 bottle price range and looking for a unique bottle of wine, you really can’t do better that here.

I just saw this place on Planet Green. The inside looks awesome. The competition is in the neighborhood is fierce though. I can’t imagine they did any type of planning before choosing a location. I hope that poor Jeff guy survives, although I doubt it. Anyhow, I’ll check it out. Looks like they have a nice outdoor area also.

My sisters and I stopped by this store mainly because we needed to use the bathroom. We had just gone to Baked for their sweet and salty cupcakes and there were no public restrooms there. The lady behind the cashier was very friendly and had no problems with us using the restroom. We started looking around… the interior of this store is really outstanding. I love how they have bicycle baskets hanging out on their front display, floors made of glass where you can see down to their basement floor. We ended up talking to the lady about sweet wines and she had plenty of recommendations for us. She recommended a Moscato D’Asti for me and I think I must have finished the bottle all by myself last night. You really don’t have to know much about wine as they are very down to earth here and will answer all your questions. We walked out of the store with three bottles! I only wish I lived closer to Red Hook to visit here more often. I’m really starting to miss Brooklyn.

My husband I noticed this wine store on our way to Fairway. We needed to stock up on wine as well as groceries so we gave them a try. We were greeted by a friendly woman who offered several recommendations. She really knew her stuff and was able to offer great descriptions. The selection upstairs is all Italian. They keep other varieties in the cellar. The prices are pretty reasonable Bottles range from $ 10 to $ 40…give or take.
