My sons are *obsessed* with this place. The staff goes beyond setting out board games and letting the kids have at it. They engage them in creative projects, encourage them to design and«play-test» their own games, reward their contributions, and give them a chance to earn a spot in a fantastic lab-wide role-playing game. My sons and their friends take their experiences here wherever they go, and spend hours dreaming up and talking through imaginary scenarios. It’s really wonderful to walk in and see so much enthusiasm and pride emanating from these kids.

Great summer camp for my 7 year old. He really loved it, and has gotten a new appreciation for playing complicated board games. If we lived closer, we’d certainly do the after-school program.

Cannot say enough good things about Game Lab and the owner Bob. They do such a fantastic job. After one week of camp at Game Lab my son came home inventing his own games and even more creative than he usually is. The program is well thought out, age appropriate and inventive and definitely encourages creativity. I believe each child also gets time to stand in front of their group to explain the tactics they used in a particular game, encouraging public speaking which is great. Thank you Game Lab, so happy you are in my neighborhood.

Wish I had somewhere to go like this when I was a kid. We stopped in to buy dice. They don’t have much of a store but they bent over backwards to rustle up what we needed and were extremely helpful!

This place is awesome. My friends and I went here on a raining night. It was fun way to spend time inside. The owner, Robert, was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn to play a new game and meet interesting people. Disclosure… my friend and I were outnumbered by men.

I’ve walked by this place a few times and finally decided to pop in. The owner, Robert, was very nice and told is a little about their store. They are a cultural center for kids, learning through tabletop games. Seems like a pretty fun place, wish places like this existed when I was a kid. A buddy of mine has been to their Thursday singles mixers and had fun. I think I will pop in on their Tuesday night adult gaming to see what that’s about, which won’t start up till end of April. I guess they get pretty busy during spring break. If I had kids, I’d much rather drop them here than plop them in front of video games.
