I have bought and sold a few homes in the NYC area. Brooklyn Properties listed and sold my condo in Fort Greene, BK. They were terrific! Very professional. They went above and beyond my expectations (and their duties) to help me through what can be a very trying experience. I give them the highest recommendation because they deserve it.

I’m so glad I found an apartment through Brooklyn Properties before reading these other reviews from years ago. I had an extremely easy and delightful experience renting my new apartment through them.
I walked by their office and saw some great listings in the window and decided to hop inside. I was shown a bunch of places in the area and actually found one that I’ll be moving into!
Usually apartment hunting in NYC can be such a horrible experience but everyone in this office seemed genuine and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to friends. I also really like that they aren’t a huge corporation like some real estate places. The owner of the company even stopped in to make sure I was satisfied!

Easily one of the worst experiences of my life. I recently was involved in a court case against the owner of Brooklyn Properties, Hal Lehrman. Basically he breached his own contract on an apartment he himself was selling and forced me to take him to court in order to rightfully get my money back. Honestly, there are a lot of other real estate companies out there and there are better ways to find an apartment than to involve yourself with a shady company owned by an ass such as Hal Lehrman. The BIGGEST waste of money in my life.
