I came here for a great DJ event. The sound is actually pretty great for a bar.
The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m not even joking. Not sure how they do it. (Salt?)
A pretty comprehensive beer selection, and the prices are really great.
The location is tucked under the highway, which probably doesn’t do it any favors. Nonetheless, I love how chill this spot is.

Stale beer and an hour wait for the worst wings of my life.

Went on friday. Really good tech house music. The sound system was pretty powerful. Bartender (female) was chill and seemed friendly.
There is an outdoor patio area.
The only issue was there was nobody there. Probably 20 people in the patio area and 10 inside. I think it was midnight.

I had a good time here. The music was good and not too crowded. The backyard is really nice with picnic tables. I watched the bartender ignore people but you’ll eventually get your drink.

Left after being totally ignored by the bartender, and pushed out of the way by some rude dude who apparently felt he owned the real estate surrounding his stool. Sorry peeps, hated it!

Okay… let me set the scene… I came in on a Friday night with three other people, it was pouring — really pouring, the place was empty.
We sat down to enjoy their amazing all day happy hour on Monday, $ 3 well drinks all night. The four of us were playing cards enjoying our drinks, lots of them ;). The bartender was amazing, he was so great. He came over and chatted with us about the game we were playing (phase 10). He brought over all the drinks we ordered, even though we said we’d be happy to pick them up off the bar. he said he was happy to.
We were enjoying ourselves and the great service so we even decided to order food when our original plan was Fette Sau. Then the worst part of the night… dun dun dun. Our amazing bartender left and instead this ass took his place. The amazing bartender had given us a round on the house but accidentally given us a gin and tonic not gin and sprite. I went up to the new dude and asked if he didn’t mind switching it to gin and sprite — after telling me I should have come over sooner he agreed to making the new one.
I’m not going to lie — I like my drinks strongggg but the other person in our party did not so I asked him for a little glass with some more sprite she could mix in. He ridiculously gave me about a ¹⁄₈ in pour of sprite. At this point my bf is pretty annoyed. he asked for more sprite and the guy told him he would have to charge $ 3 for it. Are you kidding me? We finally said whatever and paid our bill and left.
I feel awful because the 1^st guy was amazing and the second guy totally ruined the experience… such a shame!

Being from Jersey, I don’t get to frequent Brooklyn Stable as much as other patrons. I also don’t drink often, so unfortunately there’s not a huge reason for me to schlep out there. BUT I LIVE for the Saturday nights in the month when Full Axis DJ’s are playing music!
If you’ve never experienced Full Axis DJ’s spinning 90’s music all night, then slap yourself. I’ve never gone there and not seen the entire room on their feet jammin’! Brooklyn Stable’s layout with outdoor patio included is just perfect for setting the vibe to dance your toosh off until closing time. And when you take a break for a beverage, you’re greeted by some of the nicest bartenders to ever wet your whistle! Not to mention, they are all extremely courteous when asked if they can charge my phone, which I understand to be a pain in other establishments.
Do yourself the favor and experience an awesome night at Brooklyn Stable by just asking when Full Axis DJ’s will be playing, I promise you will have the time of your life!

My friend was getting a tattoo down the block so I stopped in for a drink while I waited for him to finish up. The music was great and it was a little earlier so it wasn’t too busy yet which was nice! We ended up staying for more drinks and food after he finished. It was a cute little spot. Typical bar menu and the food was pretty good! The drinks were SUPER strong and fairly priced. Really enjoyed it!

Friendly staff, non pretentious drinks and good prices. What a nice simple bar should look and feel like. Bartender was very friendly and open to let us try some beers before purchasing and making some variations to their cocktails.

Cheap drinks! Has Game of Thrones on on Sunday evenings — wins with me! A great local hangout. Looking forward to the warmer weather to try out their courtyard

I am excited about the new Thursday night here. The Beatminerz will be doing a weekly Thursday party. If you know anything about hip hop, these are the djs/​producers who did work for some of the hottest Hip Hop and R&B artists in the 90’s and present. I love the variety of music when they dj. They play it all from house, hip hop, r&b, you name it!!! Besides the cool atmosphere of Brooklyn Stable with the tvs, food and drink. This will be my every Thurs chill spot. All are welcome and If you see me say hello:) Ill be at the bar watching the NY Knicks!!! Go NY Go!

$ 1 off beers when football is on!

Not a bad place. Good beer, cheap during happy hour and then even during non happy hour. Nice patio outback. Football on sundays. Close to a train, and overall a good time.

Love this place!
The food is amazing for a bar. Kudos to The chef who is named Gonzo.
Bar is well stocked. All kinds of beer and liqs to chose from.
large TVs for you sports addicts.
Lots of room to spread out.
Sound system is great!
Parties are always amazing.
Bartenders are heavy handed on the pour.
Prices are reasonable.

Had a Great time watching the Giants VS Jets at the Brooklyn Stable… The Hospitality was Awesome… I Really Loved the Living Room Effect…

Good selection of your standard brews. Nice bartender staff. Convenient to subway. A bit empty for a Friday night.

Don’t be fooled: this place is run by the same inconsiderate asshats behind Odyssea, the calamitously awful «night club» in the same space that they had to rename to get the bad taste out of everyone’s mouth.
Same tacky décor, same awful music. Keep up the good work, guys!
