This place gets packed with locals and their pastry and bagel selection are weak, but they do brew a nice cup.

I love Regular. The coffee is simply the best in the neighborhood. Although there may be quite a wait, there a plenty of fluffy dogs to pat.

if you’re in the neighborhood, it’s a good small place for great coffee at a reasonable price.

Don’t really fancy this place. In my humble opinion the coffee is way overrated, super expensive and often not hot enough and take ages to be ready. Staff is cool but that’s a white guy barista who does have a bit of an attitude

Had the drip coffee from her. It wasn’t too expensive which was good, but it was pretty boring overall

Coffee is better than Starbucks. But their service is terrible. A girl with flowing hair made my coffee and I thought that her hair will be in my cup. When I came, they didn’t have croissants and bagels, nothing to eat.

LOVE this place! Coffee is fresh, baristas are personable and helpful, and the prices are excellent! The place is small, but if you are a city dweller, this is not a problem. I ordered the iced coffee which was incredibly smooth. I was also able to add my own amount of almond milk to the coffee(which was poured to allow for the almond milk). Great job!

Without a doubt, the best coffee and the atmosphere for a mile around(which is a lot for Park Slope)…after Ozzy’s became Dada, and Dada became who knows what, there was no quiet place to chill with a great cup of coffee within 3 blocks. There is now. Salute, guys, you’re great!

My favorite Brooklyn coffee stop. Consistently good cappuccinos.

This is the place to go if you want positively dismal service, terrible coffee that hardly resembles what you asked for, or an opportunity to watch a barista ignore all the basic rules and methods for pulling espresso shots/steaming milk/keeping a clear work station. The interior of this coffee shop is very charming and serves as really the only reason one should go here. They keep great and current reading material in stock,(ie. Lapham’s Quarterly, The London & New York Reviews, The New Yorker, etc) which is great, but there’s not much room to get comfortable. I live on Berkeley Place so I have encountered many baristas at work in this café, and have found each of them to be rude, dismissive, and absent minded. I have seldom gotten the order as I asked for it, so it feels like they’re not paying attention. It seems that no one has trained them how to make coffee, and the service stations are never clean. It’s disappointing to have such an adorable café at your doorstep and have repeated bad experiences there. It is well worth it to walk ten or fifteen minutes further for good coffee and good service; Café Regular du Nord is a *must miss.*

Wonderful coffee and a lovely place with great ambiance. It’s a bit on a small side, so you may not be able to grab a seat, but that adds to the good vibe.

The space is really great! Barista is bad. I’ve never seen more authentic design of the coffee shop! Went for a long walk all the way to Café Regular to get this look. And it worth even bubbly looking chai and dirty chai lattes that we’ve got with my boyfriend. Well, come here for a cup of tea and you’ll love it!

I love their strong, bold coffee and pastries! I usually get a croissant from them. There are only few seats inside and outside, but I’m fine with it as I usually stop by to get coffee and walk or bike around.

***If you own this place I encourage you to send a «mystery shopper» to see that this is all true.*** If it wasn’t because of proximity I would never go here and regardless of that I continue to discourage anyone I ever talk to in park slope from ever coming to your café. I have never had a to-go cup not drip from the sides where the lid meets the cup. This is not user error. I drink coffee every day. Even when empty, it takes forever to get your drink. Compare this to any other place and you’ll agree. The layout is a mess and it’s impossible to stand on line, grey a lid, etc, etc… Looks nice though, but it stucks to be a customer even when not the morning rush.

Love the coffee at Café Regular. I walk from crown heights every weekend just to get some. Fantastic cold brew and cappuccinos– pretty much the everything is great. Must try some beans from there sometime. Lovely place to just sit and enjoy a nice morning. It’s on a quiet street just off the main drag so less foot traffic. Highly recommend popping by for a good cup.

Best iced coffee in Park Slope. These guys are the real deal. Stumbled in, covered in sweat, one day after asking a friendly neighbor for a suggestion, and what a delight.(The sweat was because it was summer or at least as hot as summer). The coffee tastes heavenly, despite the giant painting on the wall labeled(in French) «Hell is other people.» And yes, I came back often after that first run, with this several-blocks-out-of-the-way spot becoming a go-to. Bonus! You can get your coffee with whiskey OR creamer. I love a full fixings bar.

This place has excellent coffee and has been my favorite and go-to place for coffee and espresso since it opened, but I must say that the past three months they have hired new baristas and none of them have ANYIDEAWHATTHEYAREDOING. None. They make the wrong drinks, are entirely disorganized and are ruining what used to be a pleasant morning experience. Owner/manager needs to hire more experienced people because all of these new early 20s girls working there lately are awful.

Where can I start? Okay this is more of a neighborhood spot and not a trendy café like hungry ghost coffee where all you see is wanna be trendy white peoples who have nothing to do in the middle of the day but drink coffee. This place is different! It’s has a comfortable home-like feeling and most patrons appear to be just neighborhood regulars. The baristas are chill and actually have smiles on their faces! It’s very weird to see a barista smile– honestly. I ordered a latte of course. I like how they give you choices on how many shots you’d like. I got a huge cup for only 2.99 plus if your a student of teacher you get 10% off. It could have been even cheaper if I applied the discount but I will go back for this huge cup of goodness.

Super charming atmosphere. I bought an iced coffee which was very nice and worked for about 4 hours in the café. The barista’s are welcoming and knew many people by name. They will leave you alone if you need to work, which is nice, too!

Friendly people and very tasty iced coffee! Seating is somewhat limited but sidewalk chairs were good for working on my computer and being out of the way! Very cool interior design and very clean kitchen space.

Amazing cold brew! Silky smooth. No acidity. One of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. I am not a coffee expert, but I like the coffee far better than Stumptown(which I find to taste like green beans.)

Cozy spot, great location. My iced chai latte was a bit on the weak side, but it was really refreshing after a 90 degree day in Prospect Park. The barista was very nice and I absolutely love the décor. I’ll need to go back to try their espresso and cortado — that’s the gauge for me. They have limited but comfortable seating(especially the awning«booths») and the mural inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre’s «L’enfer c’est les autres /Hell is other people» is gorgeous.

So nice to have a reliable source for espress that is not a chain. Had my first macchiato there last weekend and stopped back for more this morning! $ 4 for a double is a-ok with me.

Love this cute little bistro type café. They only serve La Colombe coffee so the cuppa is always terrific. The baristas are usually very friendly and accommodating. The space is tiny and often crowded, but well worth any inconvenience.

I just moved to New York about a month ago. And it has been a challenge for me to find a good cup of coffee. I admit I was spoiled in Seattle and I am not referring to Starbucks but Vivace and Caffe Vita. It was wonderful bumping into this delightful coffee shop. It maybe be small but it’s cozy and reminded me of Europe. And when my latte came up to the counter I was in caffeine heaven! That first sip made my day! Thank you! Absolutely delicious! And I even met a cute little girl and her modern grandmother from Germany. We had a lovely conversation in German. I will definitely be returning to this lovely café!
