Cahill Brooklyn Tree Service

I found this service online through google-​called, left a message and my call was returned promptly. I had a horrible, huge, tasteless, but fruitfull blackberry tree in my backyard that was causing chaos for myself and my 3 surrounding neighbors.
The tree produced and dropped a massive amount of blackberries which had absolutely no flavor to them. The berries covered the entire backyard and created a swarm of mosquitoes, flies, & other insects. I used their service in April 2007 and they chopped that baby down into the ground. Thankfully the stub was so small that it never grew afterwards. They did a wonderful job cleaning up, and chipping the branches. We were all thrilled to see that tree go. I would definitely recommend their service.

Just finished using them and very happy to use them than the other 3 companies that I had received quotes from! My tree was in the backyard and probably about 60ft tall with branches hanging over all my neighbors properties and now it is gone with just a small stump!
Nelson and his crew were all super friendly, courteous and polite which was not what I expecting from this line of work. After tree was removed, they cleaned up very nicely as well.
These guys are very professional especially when I saw first hand how an unprofessional crew does their job across from my backyard and how they don’t have a plan and just cut down everything and watches as it crashes everywhere and even destroyed parts of our neighbors property. Not Cahill aka Tree Fox, they were very careful and had a plan for every branch and i was very impressed!
Though they were not the cheapest quote I received since they are insured but definitely very reasonable pricing! The cheapest quote I received did not have their own insurance and said they will not be held accountable for anything so not sure if people want to risk that…
Overall I give these Cahill Brooklyn Tree Service a 5 star rating and highly recommend!
BTW stay aware from Clearview Tree and Land from LI, they sound very professional but they will not honor their word…

I scheduled a consultation with them, for the next day. I asked them to call to let us know when they’ll be coming. He was polite on the phone & seemed very confident. Next day. no one showed up. We called, left a nice message asking if he or anyone was coming like he said & that we’d appreciate if they’d call us back & let us know. No one ever showed up, not even a phone call saying why, nothing! We called him to see when he would be coming by since it was already getting late, no answer or call back. We even asked our neighbors if they saw anyone even looking at the tree, nothing. That’s unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate & a bad first impression! I would not call back nor recommend.

I have not used their services, but I did call and speak to Marcia. She was gracious enough to spend 10 – 15 minutes on the phone with me carefully explaining everything I need to do for a tricky tree situation, even though she knew I wouldn’t be able to give her business due to the logistics of the situation. I’m a personal assistant and I deal with so many crappy receptionists and customer service people. It’s SO refreshing to call a company and speak to an intelligent, knowledgeable human being who is willing to help. Thank you Marcia and when I need tree services, your company is the first one I will call.

Lousy people. They stole from me and left a real mess. When I asked them to do something extra they flat out refused after being offered more money. BEWARE of these crooks. They also hire people off the street (homeless and probably criminals) promised a rebate (100 off a 5000 job) and NEVER delivered

Had been having tree problems all these years. Every time when we ready to work on the tree and call other tree service company, they never show up and problem got pushed year after year. With Cahill, a single call and they show up the next day. Years of problem resolved in 2 hours and at a very very reasonable price. Too bad I don’t have any more tree, it was great to watch these guys cut the tree down. It is an art and Cahill did a fantastic job. Thank you Cahill.

Fantastic is the perfect word to describe their service.
I called for my mother. Called midweek and got so much information. It was the first time we were removing a tree from the property. Someone came to us over the weekend to give us a quote. They came the week after on Friday and did all that they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. Friendly and professional. Already recommended them to a few people.
