I have never had eggplant parm like the way it is made at Carlos grocery. Layers of thinly sliced egglant with cheese and sauce like a tort. A vegetarian delight. All the food is fresh hot and to die for. This place is Brooklyn ’ s best kept secret. We’ll worth the trip.

I have been coming here now for a few years. What a diamond in the rough. There sandwiches are probably some of the best in Brooklyn. The owners are great and the customer service is awesome. Mir you start going enough they will start knowing you by name. Don’t let the exterior of this place fool you. They are clean, use the best ingredients and have fair prices. I recommend almost anything there. But my favorites are the chicken parm, potato and eggs, meat parm, shrimp parm, and definitely there salads.

Now that i live in nj its hard for me to get to carlos but luckily my gf works a few blocks from there… coincidence maybe ;) I love everything ghey make. Dom is in the kitchen now cooking juat like dad used to and catgy is still geeeting everyone like always.(i dont think she ever stops) she is a hard worker and a great person. Chicken parm is my fav along with ghe roastbeef and mozzarella. But honestly everything they make is top notch. And there fries… omg. They still come in the quart chinese container and are fresh cut. Do yourself a favor if your ecer in the neighborhood or have a friend thats nearby try this place… you wont be disappointed.

Looking to try one of the best Chicken Parms you’ll ever have in your life? No need to travel to Little Italy. Make your way to this obscure, vague, and hidden hole in the wall deli serving up the soft, meaty, and cheesy perfection.

You would never guess that this grocery store makes awesome sandwiches from the exterior storefront or even when you walk in, but man are they good! So far my husband and I have tried the chicken parm and the hot roast beef. Both were delicious but the chicken parm is definitely the star. It has only a few ingredients but packs a huge punch of flavor! We can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I recommend getting the large(whole loaf) as it is only a few dollars more than the half. On average $ 8 for half sandwiches and $ 11 for whole. The whole loaf is the size of a standard Italian bread(about 12 – 14? inches). They build the sandwiches when you place the order so it is always fresh and never soggy.

This mom and pop grocery store that serves up incredible italian food is the best kept secret in Brooklyn. Their chicken cutlet parm is BYFAR the best I’ve ever eaten… and most probably ever will. If you’re looking for some seriously delicious, homemade italian food, you’ve got to try this place out. The wait can be a little long at times, but it’s totally worth it.

There is no better chicken cutlet parm hero in the city then from this little mom and pop grocery store. Their food in general is better than 95% of the italian restaurants I go to. Sometimes the wait time for a sandwich can be a little lomg but if you call ahead, your set to go! Highly recommend checking out this diamond in the rough

Family owned mom & pop near a school don’t go around 3 way too busy selling bags of chips sunflower seeds to the elementary & High School kids. The back of the store is a deli section nothing where they create several sandwiches. My Favorite«The Godfather» Them being Italiano I am sure it was done out of love. My second fav. «The Godfather 2» of course.

Their sandwiches are things of beauty. The potato and eggs in particular is worth every penny. The one problem with Carlo’s is the wait time, but that can easily be remedied by simply calling ahead with your order by a half an hour. It’s an excellent place.
