C. and I stepped in because they had a sign in the window saying that they sold greeting cards at 50% off. Now, I don’t know how you feel, but I love greeting cards. I love holidays. I even love holidays that have been made up by greeting card makers to sell new cards. Any excuse you need to reach out to a loved one is a good excuse. And greeting cards are one way you can do so. We went in, and I bought eight cards, four for Halloween, and four for Thanksgiving. C. said, «Do people send cards for Halloween?» Yes, I do. The shop had an adequate — not awesome — selection of cards, as well as toys and other gift items. And the young woman working there was just starting to study chemistry.
