Loved it! Intended to go to Sea but got distracted by the cool décor of this place. Walked in and loved it! Ordered with 7 friends and we all got sin thing different. Everything was delicious! Definitely coming again and dropping Sea. Better than Joya and Sea. Small portions but super good food!!! Coming back soon. Highly recommend.

Tasty food, especially the curry puffs! Very friendly staff, low key, cozy atmosphere. Vietnamese style chicken dish was a highlight!

The tom yum soup was good though and so was their service. The shrimp tempura appetizer was good but most of the entrée were not so good. The Crispy Duck was okay, it could be better without the tamarind. The best thing was the Indo-chicken rice; the rice was very flavorful. The massaman curry was okay, the potatoes were undercooked and the gravy was watery. It was not spicy enough either. However, the service was great and so were the drinks. The décor was beautiful too, especially the small pool with floating flowers and candles. A nice hangout spot if you are just looking for a bar to hang out at. :)

I came here on NYE’s with a group of friends for dinner. One of my friends did try to make a reservation over the phone, but they wouldn’t take it. However, they said they will keep us in mind. Luckily, there was a table open for us when we came in! Especially on NYE’s. The décor of the restaurant is great and looking through the glass window from the outside, you will notice their little pond of lotus flowers and fake candlelights. It really sets up the intimate atmosphere, as well as the dim lighting and the lights they have dangling over the«pond.» Our waitress was super nice and attentive. She even offered to take a picture of us later. So, service was a big plus! For appetizers, we ordered the corn fritters! They were so good! Get them if you’re here! For entrees, I ordered the popular Chiang Mai Noodles. They were very accommodating when I asked if I can have Chiang Mai Noodles mild. My friends ordered the Indo Chicken, Pad Thai’s and Pad See Ew. The presentation of the food was great and my dish tasted delish! Highly recommend! The Indo Chicken also looked great and my friend seemed to enjoy it. One of my friends complained that there was too much vinegar in her pad thai and had some trouble eating it. However, we’re not sure if the«too much vinegar» is the«Chai» style. It could possibly be? But I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Other than that, everything was great. We also had Thai Iced Teas. They were served in mason jars and tasted so good! Overall, this is a pretty solid place for Thai food that has good prices. I would recommend it!

This little place offers a great lunch special which includes soup salad or spring roll for 8.99. Now keep in mind it is small place the food is good and the service is friendly. I really enjoy eating the pad see ew and the pad Thai. I also prefer coming here over sea.

This is our favorite Thai place in New York. We love the food of course and the ambiance is nice. We have eaten Thai food in Thailand and this is very authentic. We try to come here once a week!

Atmosphere is above average, service was fair and the food was pretty good. Good spot if you’re in the area, but nothing outstanding.

I was going to go to the SEA Thai restaurant across the street but there was a 30 minute wait and the music was SOLOUD, like a club, and they asked for ID. Just to get a table? So I left and came here, got a seat immediately. Cute small restaurant with the best Thai iced tea that I’ve had in a lonnnnnnngggg time. And even though they didn’t have what I usually order at other Thai restaurants on the menu, the waitress still let me get my chicken pineapple fried rice!

Been here already for 2 times. And every time it’s good. First of all great location. Everytime food is delicious. Yellow curry is amazing. Also it was not so watery and that was good. The prices are low. 11 $ for good portion of curry. You can find price like this on a lunch special. But as a dinner menu is great. Service is good. Our main waitress was so so. But other new girl who was helping her was polite and smiling. Cozy atmosphere. Great place for Thai food.

I have never been to Williamsburg before. So since me and the fam were at Smorgasburg and a certain hangry person wanted«real» food, we ended up here. The décor is soo cute. That’s all I have to say about that. Lol I ordered a passion fruit champagne thing(I forget the name, ackkk) it was good, but I don’t think I would get it again. As my appetizer I had vegetable spring rolls. They weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but it held me down. My entrée was shrimp pad thai and they truly jipped me by putting only 4 pieces of shrimp in dish… If that’s the case I would’ve stuck to chicken, and requested they make it spicy. Mr. Hangry man got the mango mojito, duck spring roll, and Indo Chicken. He said it was good. Not much special about it, but the peanut sauce was really good. For the baby we got him jasmine rice and chicken skewers. He ate it, so I have no complaints.

Williamsburg restaurant Chai is not too bad. I was going for a date night and we passed by this restaurant. When we entered and asked to be seated we didn’t realize how small this place is. We were going to be seated at a two table desk but because the couple next to us were so close I really didn’t want to put my wide behind in their face while they ate. So we asked to eat at the bar which didn’t have a bad view of the feng shui décor and also a wide open door space that let in the cool Brooklyn breeze drape your back. It’s was a little dark in the restaurant so because my honey is so old with bad vision we used are cellphones to look at the menus. Which was a little fun cause i got to make fun of the situation. They actually have a great selection, we order three appetizers and two entrees. I order a delicious Vodka gimlet and he order water… Over all the food was delicious and the waiters were nice but the place is pretty small and I notice how cheap they were with tissue… But I enjoyed everything and I would come again but I’m hanging out at the bar

Another Williamsburg delivery disappointment. Not catastrophic, just would not order again. Food arrived quickly and hot, but the quality was lacking. The green curry featured that presliced freezer chicken with the manufactured grill marks and bamboo shoots for days. Coupled with a more white than green sauce, it tasted only marginally better than a Lean Cuisine. The meal also arrived with only one small box of rice, not even enough to accompany the entire curry portion. All-around bummer.

I really want to like this place but I don’t. The spring rolls on my plate were cold, damp inside, not completely thawed yet. They show you the lunch special menu everywhere. But they charge you the full price at the end. That’s another problem of this place.

We had actually made a reservation elsewhere at a later time, but the cold and sudden hunger led us to this Thai restaurant. Most of us felt like eating something soupy so we ordered the Tom Yum and Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, and both really hit the spot! The Pad Thai was up to par but was NOT exceptional. My boyfriend usually orders the Duck Curry at any Thai food place, and we unintentionally end up judging the restaurants based on how good the dish is. While many places overcook the duck, this restaurant cooked it perfectly and the curry was on point! I mistakenly thought the pineapples were potatoes and my mouth was pleasantly surprised! The service was great; no complaints! The ambiance was very peaceful and I definitely liked the décor. Will I come back here again? Not sure, mostly because Williamsburg is filled with great places to eat!

Stopped into Chai for a quick bite during lunch one day… was immediately calmed by the attractive pond with floating flowers near the front door. We were greeted by a nice waitress who was pleasant and helpful. She ensured that my water glass never dried up. I went with the simple Thai dish… Pad Thia(beef) and it was pretty good, nothing amazing or out of this world but definitely good. The place had a nice ambianace and despite that I didn’t stick around for dessert but I did see the neighboring table with a delicious banana dessert.
