Been coming here since I was a kid. The service is great, fast, and the pizza is as delicious as always.

I pretty much grew up eating at Charlie’s Pizzeria. Its been my neighborhood Pizza spot since I was a kid. Many memories, many pizzas, never unsatisfied. The pizza is your typical Brooklyn pizza, which is absolutely delicious, and they do have some pretty great sausage rolls! The lasagna is amazing. Clean place, owners very polite and respectful. Not many places like this around here for the food and service they offer. Great pizza. What more could you want? :))

The pizza is pretty good but they get a big fat zero! What pizza place doesn’t deliver??? It’s freaking mind blowing that every time I want to order a pizza from here, I get a «Sorry only pickup» as a response. If I’m too lazy to cook I’m too lazy to go and get the food too, otherwise I would head to Key Food instead :/surprised they are still in business. They used to deliver years ago.

I grew up in Sunset Park and back in the day after a trip to the pool this was the perfect place to stop by when you’re starving! We live in the area again and now we’re closer to Charlie’s, their pizza is decent better than many of the others nearby that is for sure! The prices are great, I paid 1.00 for both garlic knots and zeppolis, which I loved! However, Johnny’s pizzeria over on 58th and 5th has probably the best pizza I’ve ever had in Brooklyn. Charlie’s is worth the shot though if they are closer and you’re hungry. I’d eat here second after Johnny’s.

I’ve stopped in here a couple of times on long walks home from my office, since I live about five blocks from Charlie’s. Both times I’ve had a couple of slices of the Sicilian pizza and it’s great. Maybe it is, maybe not, but it tastes just like the memory I have of a square pizza from my childhood… Definitely a nice treat!

Not that I wouldn’t go here again if I was in the mood for basic pizza and pasta. But 18 bucks for a pepperoni pizza? Come on. And it was only ok, good enough. Not 18 clams enough. And they don’t stay open very late, which means you’re going to have to wait on that craving. At least Sunset Bagel is open 24⁄7. Their pasta is decent as well, if you want to cut that check in half just go for that, or a hero instead.
