I’m basing this review solely on the fantastic donuts, sufganiyot, they had during Chanukah. Nothing sticks it to our Greek oppressors more than these works of art. They shouldn’t even really be called donuts, as they’re just in a league of their own. Not overly sweet, but well balanced in flavor, they had several varieties, including one filled with Irish Cream-infused chocolate ganache, topped with a dusting of cinnamon, and the one that took the cake, or the donut, I ought to say,(I know, I know, I’m just the funniest, no pun intended) was filled with a crème brûlée custard filling and topped with a brulee caramelized crust. What really set these over the top was the mad science/slightly clinical touch of a plastic syringe inserted into the side of each confection, The syringes contained a variety of liquidy sweet flourishes, depending on the type of donut. The crème brûlée had a liquid caramel injection, and as you make your way through the light, fried dough, you can inject each bite as you go along with sweet caramel goodness. The Irish crème had what tasted like more chocolate liqueur. I’d love it if they had these available throughout the year, but I don’t think I could be so fortunate. The one thing that deeply troubled me was that as I sat at one of the groovy window-side seats and left my phone charging and my Judaica bag at my place, these rude, obnoxious Israeli women who were loudly chatting and gossiping in arz Hebrew and loudly munching on their salads moved my stuff out of the way and took over my seat while Ii went next door to use the sherutim(that’s facilities for all you non-members of the tribe). As far as eating here, it seems too busy and cramped during the day, but at night, I bet it’s a peaceful spot to study, learn, and grab a bite. And maybe while you’re at it, you can inject your donut and play doctor.

They are open late! I’ve ordered the lattes and mocha latte. I’ve always been able to find parking nearby. The service is very good.

Since I last came here the manager saw my Unilocal review and wrote me a beautiful apology lettter. He explained to me that he was very sorry for my experience and said that they have made many improvements to the business including in the areas of customer service and price. And he was right. I took his invitation(he asked me to please come again) and I returned to the Café. The prices have been lowered significantly. The customer service was excellent. And no problems with the customers this time. It was a good experience and the Cappuccino was delicious and so was the cinnamon roll which was hot and fresh and smellled great. BTW they have free WiFi also. I would have given this business 5 stars but they don’t have a bathroom. They share a bathroom with a business next door that isnt always open when they are. Kind of inconvenient for customers.

I ordered an espresso here… I don’t know how they can call this an espresso. Not. Even. Close. Has this place ever had a real Italian espresso? Gave them another shot a few weeks ago… and walked away because of how ridiculous the management is. The manager called the cops on one of the workers because there was evidently a misunderstanding regarding how the poor guy was going to be paid. Never going here again.

So cool, being able to sip a coffee with a painter painting the windows a few yards away …

I’ve been to better. It’s only perk is that it’s open 24 hours and they have free wifi. Food is mediocre and prices are way crazy for a coffee shop. But I guess that how you are paying for Wifi in short, don’t go there if you want a regular coffee for a decent price and your on the run.

Good lattes, albeit a bit expensive. There’s limited seating.

Despite having a decent cup of coffee the counter space that was available in the seating area was left uncleaned in sitting struin about were the likes of a half eaten sandwich napkins and empty used cups.

A very good mocha and place to charge your phone while you people watch. I wish it was a little more affordable to get a latte and a snack, but it’s a good place to treat yourself.

This is a awesome little coffee place that you go to, when you’re in the mood of grabbing a coffee and pastry or sit down for a quick breakfast with friend, family etc. I was there one morning with my family and although there is not much seating, including the seating by the front window and the seating in the back by the museum, we still managed to get ourselves seated and had a real nice time. The place has a nice décor and the staff is as helpful and friendly as it gets. The food and drinks(Breakfast/Brunch style) are absolutely delicious(Although not the cheapest) and there is free Wi-Fi! Bottom line: I’m a great fan of this place and look forward to go there again.

Coffee and food here is top notch. I personally enjoy the chai latte(with whipped cream on top, mmmmm). All the servers here are professional and quick. They also have panini’s and pasta dishes. It can get busy depending on the season. The largest detractor is the lack of seating.

Best iced mocha in NYC. And I am a die hard Starbucks person, but this beats Starbucks on any day. Wish they had more locations. The cutest and most adorable coffee sleeves. They also have pastries and yummy wraps. Seating is limited, but hey, in this neighborhood prime real estate goes fast. Very nice and friendly customer service. Also, very clean and modern décor, almost swanky for a kosher coffee shop. I am a big fan!

This is an accessible, pleasant coffee shop located inside the Jewish Children’s Museum(and in the heart of the Jewish community of Crown Heights). The space is bright and airy, decorated with Illy products and clocks showing the time in various cities around the world(Jerusalem, Milan, Paris, Rio…), a flatscreen showing nothing but nature scenes, and Hebrew pop music playing over the soundsystem. They have every coffee drink anyone could ever want, and I appreciated the fresh mint they added to my tea. I have yet to try the more substantial food options(sandwiches, salads, etc.), but I can report that they have plenty of decent snacks available(pastries, Kind Bars, Naked Juices, and more). $ 3.75 is bit steep for a plain croissant, but perhaps kosher croissants cost more. I don’t really know. Chocolatte also boasts free wi-fi, but there is limited(but comfortable) seating and the counter is a bit higher than ideal for laptopping. Although, I can’t blame them if it’s purposeful, and they don’t want the likes of me sitting there all day long.

Beautiful, clean, modern Kosher coffee shop in Crown Heights. They have a great menu of hot and cold drinks(brewed with Illy coffee!) along with pastries, FroYo, sandwiches, salads, and borekas. Free wifi and open 24-hours — a dream place to have in Crown Heights! They also have a display of beautiful gift baskets for coffee lovers.

Excellent place to have a Latte, coffee, green salad, sandwich and milkshake, Starbucks kosher style. Located in the Jewish Children’s Museum building and have additional seating outside.
