I called the store to inquire about holiday cards for my company. The woman who answered was incredibly rude for someone whose job it is to attend to customer’s needs. I asked what types of holiday cards they had and for a GENERAL price range. She gave me curt and unhelpful answers in a condescending tone and eventually told me «you’ll have to come and look– I’m kind of busy right now.» That doesn’t make it entirely useless– you can find incredibly cheap cards there although you have to search hard for something relevant and they’re probably mark downs, and it’s obviously not a high-end store where customer service is a priority. But that was still an unpleasant experience.

Nice gift card shop. I needed to buy some helium balloons, and they had a good selection. The two shop keepers(not sure if they are the owners or not) were very friendly and helpful. I don’t frequent many gift card or the Hallmark stores, so I can’t really compare, but it’s really nice when the shopkeepers are friendly, good people.

This shop is small but always has everything I need, whether it’s gift wrap or a homoerotic helium balloon. Prices are reasonable and the ladies that work there are really helpful.

Its a nice card shop. There is no Hallmark around so this will do. They sell all the cutsie little figurines you would expect from Hallmark stores(precious moments, hummel, etc) and they have a decent selection of cards also. I can tell this place is popular with the locals because one day before mothers day and it was a madhouse in there. I still made out with 2 pretty good cards for mom just incase I messed one up while writing it(I have done that before)

Also known as Cinderella’s Cards for Less, this greeting card store offers 50% off cards and giftwraps. They feature the American Greetings and Gibson lines of cards, as well as others, but it’s not a Hallmark shop. They’re best suited for seasonal greeting cards. It’s on my walk home from the Y, so I often stop in for birthday cards, Valentine’s Day cards, and other things to help recognize upcoming special occasions. They also have giftwrap and gift items — like scented Yankee Candles and DVDs with footage and music representing various years in the ‘40s, ‘50s, and other decades. Those, unfortunately, aren’t half off — just the cards and wrapping paper. Still, you can go in, grab two cards that would normally cost you almost $ 10 and pay for just more than $ 4. That’s a bargain — and really, when was the last time you sent someone a card? I say they don’t accept credit cards because last weekend or so, they’re machine was broken, and they weren’t. I’m not sure if it’s been fixed by now, but I wouldn’t depend on it. Correct me if I’m wrong!
