Class M Towing & Recovery

This experience may seem somewhat similar to the one below me but it was a totally different day. (I do feel for her though)
Had a flat so I had to leave my car overnight and get it in the morning. My insurance company issues my request for a tow to these jag offs. Holy crap! This fricken idiot, he might’ve been Angel but I don’t really care, comes 20 minutes after I make the call. I informed my insurance company that I wasn’t at my car and they said he’d be there around an hour from now. I get there before I get an alert call that they have arrived but no tow truck. I call these fricken idiots and the dispatcher says he was calling a million times because he was there waiting… get this… FOR AN HOUR! Pffffh! FOH! So he left and went into Manhattan to get someone else. I – was – livid! When he got back after an hour and 5 minutes, the truck smelled like it was baking from weed and made up every excuse in the world of what happened. My bf wasn’t pleased. When we get to the tire place, he almost completely pulls of my bumper when unloading it off of the dock. My bf had to navigate him but not before the fool gets an attitude and yells at him. I was about to throw a wrench at that idiot! Do NOT use them. You’ll regret it!!! Stay away!!!

I was disappointed when another tow truck company came before the time i ordered it for and cancelled on me. When Class M Towing company came i vented about the problem to the guy and he explain that the guy from the other company probably was in the area earlier then expected and left since i wasnt around, and cancelled because another call came in. It makes sense, TIME IS MONEY, but it still sucked. Anyways this tow truck driver was a young Indian guy (mid 30’s) who was EXTREMELY NICE AND FRIENDLY. I wish I got his name, and also i wanted to leave him a tip, but when i came out the bathroom at the mechanics while he was unloading my car he was already gone. :(I hope he is blessed, because he was enjoyable to ride with and gave me tips on car stuff and other mechanics to go for minor issues that are closer to my home. i was shocked to see so many negative reviews, so I hope that others here on out have a great experience because I have nothing negative to say about mine.

Not that this company needs any more negative reviews, but I was scheduled to have my car towed by Class M Towing & Recovery by roadside assistance when I got a flat tire while driving in Brooklyn. Time was estimated for 90 minutes and I got a phone call about an hour and 10 minutes later saying the truck was at my location and did I see it. The truck was nowhere to be seen. The person on the phone ended the call so that the driver could call me — which never happened. I called the company back and very calmly asked where the truck was, to which the guy told me to «calm down», and the truck had to make a stop and would be there soon. Another 30 minutes later, speaking to roadside assistance they got the company on the line and told me that I said I didn’t want to have my car kept overnight, since my dealers service department at this point was closing soon — apparently why they never showed up. This was a conversation that never happened but of course I would now never trust this company to keep my car overnight. Needless to say I cancelled the pickup and told my roadside assistance provider I wanted nothing to do with this company anymore.

My insurance company made an appointment for this company to pick me up at 2:20pm for a tow. I got a call from the driver at 1:24pm when I was not at my garage. When I arrived at my garage and called this company they said they cancelled my appointment because I wasn’t there. This is after they sent me a text saying they would arrive at 2:20. The dispatcher for the company was rude and dismissive and guess what? HE HUNG UP ON ME!
I think the «M» in Class «M» towing stands for MORONS!
I spoke my insurance company and I suggested they take this company off of their list of people to call so I hope they lose all the business they should be getting. Rude, Horrible and ridiculous. Don’t waste your time with these losers.

Previous reviews described situations of waiting 1 hour or 2 hours. That’s cute. I really believe that Unilocal should have an option for zero stars. I considered waiting a day to write this review so it would be more objective. But if I can prevent even one person from using this company I figure I should do it as soon as possible. Got a flat on the way from Long Island to Brooklyn and needed a tow back to the dealer in Long Island. BMW roadside assistance called this company at 11am and informed them it would be both my husband and me driving in the tow truck. Classic M gave an e.t.a. of 12:49pm. We called them at 12:50pm, to which they responded the truck was 10 minutes away. At 2:00pm the response was the tow truck broke down. At 3pm, a new (black brand spanking new) truck was coming. At 4pm he was about a block away. At 5, he was pulling up to us. At 6pm he was about to call us. We’re still waiting for the phone call. So, 8 HOURS LATER the dude shows up. We had already called another company so actually felt bad about them coming out. Until… wait for it… wait for it… the guy says that there is something broken in the truck (yes, the brand spanking new truck) so we can’t both ride in the truck. And then he points out that the Long Island Railroad is right there (which it is not) so one of us can take the train. Huh??? At that point my husband told him to kick rocks. No apology, no explanation from the company. Who are these people? Why are they still in business? DON’T DO IT. And if your tire company or insurance company or roadside assistance tells you they are sending them ASK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY. (Oh the second towing company just got here. An hour after we called them…). Can’t stop shaking my head.

Please take my review seriously. First thing I have to say is, DO NOT use this towing company. My car stalled in Brooklyn and my Mieneke insurance referred me to this company. It took them 1hr and 45 min for them to arrive, the guy called my phone with the biggest attitude because he couldn’t find where my exact location was even though I gave him an exact physical address. After 15 min towing my car, My insurance quoted me $ 5.50 for every mile, the driver wanted to quote me $ 9.00 per mile. We had a huge dispute and I had to call the authorities because this guy was trying to scam me. I ended up paying the exact amount of what my insurance told me to pay and the driver left with only the money he needed to get. Even though I won in my favor, these people are not going to stop scamming others so please stay away. They are liars, incompetent and complete scum bags. Save yourself the time and headache!

Unfortunately I was referred to this company by Michelin tire assistance. One of my brand new tires went flat the day after I purchased and had them installed by Costco tire center. I contacted Michelin and was told that I would be assisted by this company within a hour — that’s what they said!
Michelin even called to check on where they were TWICE — once after an hours wait and the second after an additional half hour. Each time Michelin contacted them on my behalf they simply said they were on their way SMH. Class M towing never once attempted to contact me about the delay. I contacted them myself and the person who answered the phone was very unprofessional. He answered the phone like it was his home phone and continued to insist that the tow was on their way (He said that his tow guy was on McDonald Ave) but I think he was actually in McDonalds eating!
After two hours I had Michelin tire assistance cancel with this company and send another tow company out. The second tow company (Just Watching Tow) responded in about 30 minutes and called me to confirm my location

The worst of the worst! this company they left me stranded from 10am-​2 pm waiting on there unreliable lying asses! Dude Angel claim to say he was stuck on the bridge due to an accident??? really U was stuck for that long ALONG WITHOUT ANY CONTACT TO THE PERSON THAT IS SITTING WAITING FOR YOU!!! AT LEAST A COMMON COURTESY CALL WOULD OF BEEN NICE!!! My husband came from all the way out Long Island to Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn to get me while u claim to say you was stuck on a bridge that was no more than 15 mins away!
U GUYS SUCK!!! At least call your client and say something, don’t lie to my road side assistance people saying that I’m going to give her a call and NEVER DO!!!
