This is my favorite all around hardware store in South Slope. Everyone who works here is so nice! Really helpful and can give great advice.

The name says it: a family ran hardware store. Came here to get a key copied for a new lock. It took 10 minutes and $ 3.00, while waiting I checked out the rest of the store and grabbed a couple of other miscellaneous items. For such a small store, it supplies a large array of hardware items including: gardening, paint, drills/saws, locks, etc… Price-wise, right in the middle, not expensive, not super saver, it really depends. The place is clean and organized. Friendly people.

Great little neighborhood store. I have started coming here for all kinds of gardening and hardware supplies. They have a very good selection and their prices are often cheaper than other hardware stores, even cheaper than Amazon. Staff are also very friendly and helpful, they even let me borrow their hand truck to haul some stuff back once.

Great hardware store in the Slope, and it feels good to patronize a business with good people running the show. Slyvester has gone above and beyond to custom order items for me. I’d highly recommend coming here!

I love this place. They have everything I’ve ever needed, they always take the time to help, they rent out power tools, their prices are fair, and recently I found out that they’re also incredibly generous and charitable neighbors. I came into the store last week looking to gather together supplies to take to the Rockaways after Sandy hit. After learning what I was up to, the manager here gave me deep discounts on everything I bought and then threw in hundreds of dust masks – well over $ 100 worth – for free. Lovely people – and knowledgeable too.

Came in here looking for a part for my heat pump after trying Park Slope Plumbing Supplies and a Hardware store across the street. While these guys did not have it either, the gentleman helping me was truly digging for it.
