Excellent service. I truly enjoy ordering from here. The baked goods are excellent and fresh. The beverages are made just right. The employees never rush me and are very helpful which makes me want to keep coming back. Love this place!

Three stars for the friendly staff and their muffins are pretty tasty. If your coming in to sit for an hour on your computer you’ll get very uncomfortable all their chairs and benches are made of wood with no cushion to keep your ass comfortable lol. For 20 minutes it would do the trick the wooden chairs won’t bother you as much.

I ordered a large coffee with almond milk — the coffee was strong but it was cold and there wasn’t much almond milk added for it to be on the edge of iced. Overall, courteous staff and efficient service. Two stars because their blueberry yogurt muffin and lorina lemon sparkling soda left me content.

Two favorite things here: chocolate macadamia coffee and the red velvet cupcake(one of the best in the neighborhood). Great place for a quick breakfast on the way to your morning commute.

This store needs to take a cue from the Park Slope store… it’s almost always one guy in there busting his ass while the others stare at their phones. Service needs an overhaul. Not unfriendly, just need better training. And the godawful pop music is unendurable. Play something classy – doesn’t have to be Brooklyn-hip, but oldies or jazz or something innocuous.

They have a friendly staff, a good variety of flavors and pastries. The lines can get pretty bad though. It’s deff not cheaper than a dunkin but it’s better if you’re willing to wait.

This staff is pretty inefficient. Smoked salmon bagel was $ 7.50. Latte was $ 3.50. The tables and chairs are dirty and sticky. There’s really no reason to come here.

No matter how many times I think I can get this place another chance, I am always disappointed. This is my fourth time trying to slice of cake here for 5.50 and of course every time it has been stale. I’m out raged by how this plays gets to survive on Cortelyou were so many great things are happening. And when you complain instead of handling the situation with an apology and possibly a better quality item, you get«all the slices are the same.»

They make a great red velvet cupcake. I went on a weekday afternoon and it looked like there wasn’t too much of a rush — there’s definitely space to set up a laptop and get cracking on your work. This shop is a nice feature in the neighborhood, and I think I’ll definitely stop by again sometime.

They are not Starbucks, which is great, they are not Starbucks, which is bad! Free Wi-Fi, which I think that in today’s economic is a must. A coffee which is good enough to turn a morning into a bearable one. They do their job, and they have good food. The place is clean, and the people here ALWAYSSMILE. And this is something rare, since many times in coffee places people make you feel that the last thing they want to do right now is to make coffee for you. Just be careful, very often the coffee just come out too sweet. Take less than you think you are going to need. Love coffee places where the staff smile ;)

I tried their hot chocolate there — it was AWESOMMEEE. But it’s hot chocolate, you can’t go wrong with that. Another cute café in brooklyn with an awesome selection of café drinks. Have yet to try the deserts but definitely will come back!

I can only speak for this location. The coffee is horrible and overpriced. I just got an iced coffee this morning; thinking it would be nice and fresh. It was definitely there from last night. It had coffee grains on the bottom and just made me sick to my stomach. A small cup of gross coffee is 3 bucks. I would stay away from their coffee. The one star goes to their egg and cheese on a croissant. It’s really yummy and I would only go there for that.

Great way and great place to start the morning. And if finding parking here wasnt so comlicated, they would definitly see a lot more of me. In general, i can say that this corner is reaslly developing in the last few years, and a connueticuet maffin was one of the places i was so happy to see. The people who wrok here are friendaly and smiling, and actually make you feel that they really enjoy their job.

It’d be nice if they could get an order right or if we got our order together instead of in stages. How hard is it to make a bacon egg and cheese? Absolutely terrible.

So this place probably has some of the best red velvet around but the customer service is unpredictable at this particular location. I have walked in here when they were in the middle of cleaning with bleach and the smell was horrific. Why would anyone bleach and sell coffee at the same time? So I only go to this Cortelyou location when I absolutely have no choice.

Stumbled upon this place after brunch. Nice large spot for your coffee and muffins. The coffee is standard but the standout are the muffins. Delicious and filling. Love the morning glory muffin that is filled with wonderful ingredients. Carrots, coconut, and nuts. Also the cranberry yogurt muffins were good as well. Soft and moist inside with a nice crunchy muffin top. Nice service and a refreshing coffee. Plenty of space to sit down to hang out and use the wifi while sipping coffee and nibbling on your muffin.

Ok if you don’t have very specific food requirements. They have free wifi and it’s pretty much empty/quiet so it’s a good work space but none of the baked goods are gluten free. There’s also a bench right outside of the store that is perfect for chilling on during warmer weather whether or not you buy something from inside the store. I have never had a bad experience with the customer service here as others have noted in their reviews(I guess because I haven’t actually gotten anything but tea and their soups — and you can’t really mess that up), but there are typically only one or two people behind the counter and they don’t seem to be in a huge rush to move guests along expeditiously. Round up — clean store, always smells good and tempting(that can be a good or a bad thing depending on if you are trying to avoid sweets), priced affordably, free internet, good for using as a work space — never felt rushed to leave with my one cup of tea.

This place is the worst. The first time I went there I was given the completely wrong breakfast sandwich and I was the only person ordering so I was actually just completely ignored and given an everything bagel with cheese instead of the bacon and egg on plain bagel I asked for. Another time I ordered a hot chocolate and was given something that was not hot chocolate. And a third time I ordered a hot chocolate which was made incorrectly and had burnt milk in it… Try enjoying that at your desk at 8am. I’ve learned to double check my order when ordering and when receiving but for the cost I shouldn’t have to so for the most part I try to avoid this place especially on Monday mornings when I don’t need a bad start to the week.

Such a cute place. I had a business meeting there today, and it was great for a one on one meeting. The people who work there are very nice, and the presentation of the food makes you wonder how many ;) I had the chicken panini and a cup cake. Both were delicious!

Have never had a problem with service or attitudes from the folks behind the counter, I enjoy their regular coffee and that’s really all I generally order. Their pastries and muffins are certainly delicious on the few times I’ve had them; the carrot muffin is my favorite and is consistently pretty good, should you catch them fresh. Some pastries look like they’ve been hanging a bit too long. I tend to come on less busy times with a pretty simple order, maybe that’s why I’ve never had an issue. And it’s not Starbucks, so that’s a plus. Pretty standard coffee joint that can serve as a cool spot to do some work or study if you cant seem to get focused at home and need Wi-Fi.
