I took the intro to metal fabrication class and it was so much fun. I learned how to weld and form metal. We got to build a stool or tray; both ended up looking great. The instructor is knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend it.

Had a great time! Not too far from the nearest train, the class I took was awesome and I learned a lot. The instructor Erica was fun to learn from! Jayson was kind and very attentive. The area is new and clean. I had fun and will look forward for my next class. Definitely recommended! I made Soap with 5 other participants and the class itself was very hands on. Can’t wait till I start making it at home.

I just took my second class and again, had a fantastic time! I first took the Lettering class which was really inspiring and informative and just took the soap-​making class where we made a whole pound of soap to take home.
I love Craftsman Ave because the class sizes are VERY small and it makes for a very hands-​on, informal experience with a lot of individual attention. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful; I’ve interacted with Jayson and he is the best!
I plan to take more classes here and have been recommending Craftsman Ave to all my curious and crafty friends.

So happy that this place finally opened. I live in the area and have been waiting patiently for it to open. My first class was with Jen Mussari learing lettering. Will definitely be signing up for more classes from some of the other craftsmen and women!

Craftsman Avenue is a craft/​maker space opposite Lowe’s on 11th between 2nd and 3rd Ave.
They have classes on woodworking, jewelry making, motorcycle design, lettering etc. and offer studio space.
It’s a great space, clean, open. I had a lot of fun making earrings in the jewelry class and I am definitely going back for more.
