I happened to skate by the spot and came in just for a cup of coffee then realized they had food and tried the salmon burger by Rohan which is healthy heaven food! Nice coffee as well.

Horrible slow service no smile no greeting not worth the coffee when I can just go across the street to sincerely Tommy and Lackawanna coffee and get the same coffee with much nicer service and a smile and soy milk that doesn’t coagulate after three minutes in a cup to make it disgusting when I tried to point this out to the guy behind the counter he was such an asshole about it I haven’t been back since it’s been almost a year

This post is a long time coming! But last October, Rohan, the chef at Crocus, threw us an amazing pre-wedding brunch outside in the back area. It was a beautiful, multi-course, rather alcohol-fueled event for 10 people, and he did all the planning, decorations, cooking, etc. It was an amazing gift and the perfect way to kick off celebrating our wedding, and planned with so much attention to detail and thoughtfulness. We highly recommend the space and Rohan and the rest of the staff’s event-throwing services!

Great coffee. Guy slinging joe was hilarious/nice. Chill, inviting outdoor space. I like it dark, sludgy. Their hair bender was spot on and 16-hour cold brew iced coffee was, literally, best iced ever. Stumbled across it the other day and already been back.

This place is fantastic. Beautiful, tree– and plant-filled patio(where you can smoke!), free WiFi, great pastries, excellent coffee, and the staff are super nice and laid back. This place is a block from my apartment and I think I’m going to become a permanent fixture. Highly recommended.

Crocus coffee serves stumptown coffee. Not a big fan of stumptown but I love the vibe here. They serve real food. Not just pastries and doughnuts. They do have Dough doughnuts though. SOOOO good. There’s a limited amount of seating — maybe enough for like 10 people. Service is the main reason I come here. The baristas are always friendly and make delicious l lattes.

I came here a bit past 5 pm on a Tuesday only to find it closed. Every site with Crocus’ hours listed says they’re open until 8, so I was excited to check out another café in an area where most close by 4 or 5. If I find myself nearby again I’ll give it another try, but I’m not trying to go out of my way for a place with unreliable hours.

Convenient location considering there aren’t many food options in this area, but the service is not always pleasant. Employee took my order while having a phone conversation with his headphones in, not so awesome.

Okay coffee(Stumptown), nice atmosphere. They always offer to steam the milk for you. I haven’t had the food yet but it’s great to be able to get Dough donuts without having to trek over to Franklin Ave. Only feedback I have so far is that I’ve never seen them open at 7am and I wish they opened up a little earlier on Sundays.

Cute little coffee shop /restaurant in Bedstuy. Always passed by it, then I looked on Unilocal and saw they actually served food, beer and wine. Great atmosphere to chill. I’ll be back

This place was just what I was looking for! I was walking by and found this gem of a coffee shop nestled in Bed Stuy. The service was impeccable and the juices from the juice bar were the best I have had! I love the style of the place and the vibe that comes along with it. Shouts to Rohan for the delicious burger and presentation!

The crocus breakfast, the chefs take on bacon eggs toast was a most refreshing and unexpected experience. Good value and a wonderful way to start the day.

Delicious juices, insanely under staffed. Painfully slow service. Always out of something. If, and I do mean if, you get to try their healthy and fresh drinks, they are very good… if.

I’ve always liked this place, even though it is a little untraditional feeling for a café. Their coffee is deceptively good(I think it’s stumptown beans) – both drip and espresso drinks – and they play good reggae. The staff is really nice, even if it isn’t the fastest place to grab and go. When I come in they always seem to remember me.

First off, they are not open at 7AM. They never have been, so don’t get fooled liked I did and show up an hour before they open because they misinform their customers about their hours. I’ve been here a few times. Most coffee shops service you right away. At Crocus, it normally takes 3 – 5 minutes to get service. The people that work there are slow. What a great concept to have the area out back. Too bad it’s cluttered with equipment, and garbage. I saw a couple of rats running around back there while I was eating my donut and coffee one day. Speaking of donuts, that’s why I gave them two stars, they have DOUGH donuts!

Very cute spot and reasonably priced food. Had to stop by to use their bathroom(which is very clean) and ended up ordering a sandwich. Not crazy about lemongrass iced tea but the sandwich, turkey cheese croissant was delicious and the salad added the right touch.

Vibe is good, customer service could be better. I would love to go back and make this my neighborhood spot, but the service has to be more efficient, and with a smile.

What a waste… We asked for a fresh juice and the girl said she had one on hand. We asked what was in it and she insisted it was fresh fruit. Turns out it was Tang. Which I am allergic to. And should never be marketed as juice, especially in a café. Never coming here again.

Great coffee — really delicious and does the trick for getting you up and moving in the morning. Awesome staff — everyone is super nice! I know some people said they didn’t think they were super friendly — but this is NYC — hello! You put out good energy you get it back and that’s definitely been my experience with Crocus — everyone is so nice, I really want to see this place succeed. Also — they carry Dough doughnuts! And the bagels look like real bagels, not bodega bagels, although I haven’t had one yet. And again — the coffee is really, really good. My only suggestion would be to warm the front up a bit — make the space a bit more inviting for staying and eating/drinking there — art work or color would help. I’m a definite fan.

Coffee is okay here. It’s super close to me so I can see a lot of visits in my future. I have not had any of their breakfast selections but will be sure to try one so I can give a proper review. They have a lovely backyard which I imagine will be a big draw in the summer.
