D & S Laundromat

They got bleach on my color clothes on two separate occasions and ruined a few things. They also tried to rip me off by saying if you want colors and whites washed separately it is basically two separate transactions so if one of the two doesn’t weigh the minimum you’re going to pay the minimum regardless (even if the combined weight of the two is well over their minimum).
There are plenty of way better places around that will do pick up and delivery for a cheaper price.

I love D&S’ Laundromat! Their wash and fold service is impeccable. I have a great report with the owner who always greets me very kindly and always has my clothes washed and folded on time.
I bring my clothes in early on the weekday they can almost assure me same day pick up. However, during the weekends you may have to wait a day or two (at most) for your clothes. Saturdays and Sundays are busy for both wash and fold service and the laundromats.
*The more clothes you have (heavier the weight) the better. Bring a cloth drawstring laundry bag if you wash and fold. Makes the experience better!

How much in love am I with the service where you bring a person your laundry and then, get this, THEY DO IT?! And later you come back and your laundry is all done and clean and folded and you never had to buy detergent or worry about quarters or anything. And then you pay them $ 13 for your 20 pounds of laundry and magically take it home.
I am so in love with it.
God I hate to do laundry.
This laundromat is nothing special, you can have them wash your clothes or you can do it yourself. It is fairly big, fairly clean, and has fairly decent hours. The staff does not so much speak English, but that’s cool. Your laundry will be ready in two days. And you don’t have to do it yourself. seriously:

OK, I know that drop off service and even free pick up and delivery is available all over the place, and that if I wanted to walk a block or two more I could even get same day service. But these fine folks were my first experience with it in the neighborhood and I am smitten.
