Had food catered and it was delicious. The chicken parm, hot wings and meatballs were awesome.

Great pizza. Cool atmosphere. You must try the pizza with ricotta cheese… Everything in here is made fresh to order.

Food is bomb, driver/service blows the big one. If I’m sick and I order delivery bring your ass to the friggin door and deliver me that pizza. Don’t ask me to come down. I’m the customer, do right by me. Thanks

Went in tonight for what I knew would be a mediocre slice of pizza, but I never actually got any pizza. The reason was that, after the 3rd guy looked at me and didn’t even acknowledge me, I decided that I would pass and never patronize this place again. A «sorry, one moment» would have been fine, seeing as it was 40 minutes before they closed and it was obvious that they were getting a head-start, but ignoring a customer in an empty restaurant? In sum, mediocre food, rude service? Never again.

I eat here before i go to a fancy italian resturant. Food is good. Specials daily. Its more personal and private so you dont feel cheated when you get your food whether dining in or to go.

The Caesar salad, slice was a really good. The other place that makes a Caesar salad, slice this good is pizza Classico. The margarita slice needed some love, the tomato sauce had too much sugar in it.

Love this place! The linguine with garlic and oil is so delicious and their pizzas always tastes fresh. Love their spinach and mushroom slices! Best pizzeria that I have come across to.

I think this might be the worst food I’ve ever eaten in New York. Pay just a little more and eat at Roberta’s instead.

Fair at best. The pizza isn’t bad. Their specialty slices like the chicken Caesar are quite good. The service is what kills this place for me. The worst is online ordering, I live in an elevator building and they still refuse to come upstairs.

I hit dannys up for some buffalo wings on superbowl 49(patriots vs seahawks) I must say there were pretty good, nice & chewy! The blue cheese was a great match with it. Bought a slice before too, was good, could be bigger. I definatley prefer the wings over The slice. But i ll be back

This place is the tits. I have lived a flew blocks away from Danny’s II for a few months now, and Danny’s II really loves and recognizes their patrons. One employee hooked my brother — who is from DC, the land of crappy pizza — up with a free slice, because he was so proud of the restaurant. Good food, good prices, great ownership and people. Great spot.

This place makes me happy when I’m too tired to cook at night. The owner’s from Italy. It’s a neighborhood joint: satisfies families with little kids, teenagers after school, and drunk hipsters later at night. There’s usually space to sit down. It’s not worth an out of the way trip but it’ll do the job. The best are the prosciutto pizza and Siciliian slices. Good dough. Just stick with the pizza and you’ll be fine.

I’ve been coming here for years. Live this place and the people. It’s a small place but the pizzas are huge and tasty.

I did a seamless order for a regular pizza. After an hour I called to see where the pizza was. The man on the phone said that it was on the way. About another fifteen minutes later I finally got my pizza — cold. First and last time I order from here. Avoid this place at all costs and just order from Willamsburg Pizza instead.

Even though I live around the corner, I will be avoiding this place like the plague. Don’t even bother ordering over the phone because 9 times out of 10 they will forget to even put it in the oven until you get there. Then, once the food is ready, it is almost always wrong(no toppings when you asked for one, wrong size pizza, etc) If you must go here, make sure you PAYATTENTION at the register– this place has a bunch of scam artists back there. I didn’t notice at first, but they make up prices on the fly, which just always happen to be more than what it says on the menu. Also, their«Daily Specials» menu is totally bogus. Every item on there is supposed to come with salad and garlic knots. When you pick up the food, they are never included and you have to fight to get them to add it. Most recently, we were told that the item we ordered, even though it was right there on the special list, did not come with the extras. Overall, the food here is mediocre and definitely not worth the hassle.

Plain Slices Will cost you 2.45. Why the nickels? Taste is meh. Some seating.

Based on the food alone, this place would get three stars. It’s okay and really depends on what you order. The steak & cheese is average. A slice of cheese is pretty good. Specialty slices are just okay. The chicken parm hero is not very good. All heroes are a bit too soggy, but sometimes we need that grease to kill a hangover. The pasta dishes are more convenient than, but not as good as what a novice could make at home. The only way to describe the service is strange. I typically call ahead for pick-up — no need to make them walk the 5 blocks when my legs work perfectly well. The point of calling ahead is to not have to waste my time waiting in an uncomfortable little space while they make my food. Usually, they’ll say something like ’10 minutes’ or ’15 to 20 minutes.’ What they mean is, ‘Yea, yea. We’ll start making it when you show up.’ It’s absolutely maddening and it’s not like this has happened once or twice. It has happened consistently over the last 4 years — probably nearly 100 times — and it’s just not excusable. That said, once you’re in there, the strange becomes a little more positive. The guys behind the counter are definitely characters. One of them always fucks with me about the price/what I ordered and it’s clear he’s joking but he gets me every time. I like that. The other one is extremely polite and actually seems to make an effort to hurry things up once he realizes I’ve arrived right when he told me to and the kitchen has been twiddling their thumbs for the last 20 minutes. It’s good enough to eat and nice to have an option other than the shit Domino’s tries to pass off as pizza, but for service it’s probably worth walking two extra blocks to the original Danny’s.

Pretty tasty slice if you want something in your stomach before a night of drinking. The place is pretty narrow, but there is seating. Do look at the giant close up pics of food that line the place. It reminds me of another pizza place… Sbarro! The pizza is tasty. No doubt about that!
