I love this spot just wish it didn’t close so early. The cashiers are always friendly and extremely personable .They have an extensive selection of wine and liquor … you can even play the lottery. Cheers !!

Quality liquor store with a wide variety of wines and spirits. The place is clean and kempt, especially given the neighborhood it’s in. Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly also.

Derby Liquors isn’t the fanciest spot but it’s definitely the best around. The floor and shelves are clean, the staff is ready to assist, and the store is well stocked with just about every type of wine and/​or liquor you might need. Bottles of wine start at around $ 6 and go up from there.
I went in recently to see if they happened to have a bottle of wine I received as a gift last year. And they did! Awesome little liquor store right in the neighborhood, so glad I finally decided to go in!

Derby Liquors is my favorite liquor store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have come over a dozen times and the staff never fails to find me whatever liquor I need. The store also contains a very large selection of alcohol at great prices. I’ll definitely be coming back to restock for my next party!

Finally a liquor store in Brooklyn that doesn’t:
a) have all the liquor behind bullet proof glass (I hate having to scream and point at the bottles, then get frustrated because the cashier picked up the wrong bottle so now I have to start the whole scream and point process again).
b) have that speak Chinese
c) have idiots behind the counter.
I love that I can examine the bottles and if I have any questions there are staff there ready to assist you. I love that they have a huge selection of wines (I’m a big wine drinker). I love that they take cash and credit.
Overall: I’m in love! Will be back.

This place has been my go-​to spot for liquor.
The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable along with having pretty decent prices.
I purchased a bottle of wine a little while back and for the life of me I couldn’t pop the cork… they recommended that I bring it back and get another bottle. I did just that and had no further issue.
Every now and then I just go in, let them know my mood/​palate, and ask for a suggestion… I’ve yet to be disappointed.

My go to liquor store. I should try the one across from Target to see if pricing or specials is better. They have my favorite Santero moscato here. Love the passion fruit flavor and the pineapple flavor.

I’m not your typical connoisseur of wines so I was a little nervous coming into this store. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. The staff was courteous and attentive in helping me with my decision. Ended up picking out the perfect wine for my parents’ 40th anniversary. This place will definitely have my repeat business.

Derby Liquors has a large selection of alcohol. I don’t know much about how to choose alcohol, but the staff here are very knowledgeable. I’ve received help from Lucas many times, from the better type of tequilas to suggestions on different types of hazelnut alcohol (to make chocolate cake shots). I’ll be coming back to make some wine purchases for the Christmas holiday!

I’ve been to many liquor stores, but none like this one.
They have a huge selection on liquors and wines. I had trouble trying to find what I wanted for a birthday party because there were so many to choose from. A young man employee helped me make my selection. Even though the store had a lot of other customers, he took his time to help me find what I was looking for. He had patience and kindly made jokes with me to make me more comfortable in the store as a customer.
I have been coming back here for months and I have never been disappointed with what they recommend to me.

This liquor store is full of helpful and friendly people! Though young, they are experienced in knowing what their customers like and will tend to their needs. The recommendations for wines and liquor alike are all satisfying on any budget (because they’ve tried most of them ;))
Can’t forget to mention that everybody is respectful of their customers as well as the prices that keep them coming back! And liquor sampling every Friday and Saturday with pretty models is always a plus!
