Solid designer that reminds me of the 1990s. My boyfriend and I split the turkey club for a quick bite and it was perfect. The prices are little on the high side but the rent is high with this neighborhood and the quality of food was high. Service was quick and good. Also, they gave us to-go coffees for the road.

Talk about being deliberately antagonistic to your customers! And such mediocre food! Better start with the checking of oneself before you’re wrecked. No cards, no clue what ‘prixe fixe’ means, and go to the counter if you don’t want to be forced to buy coffee. Better yet, just don’t walk in the door…

My fiancé and I were craving waffles, and luckily(or so we thought) Dizzy’s had a blueberry waffle with peaches special. Not so lucky for us, each waffle(only a moderate size portion) was $ 14! I know it’s Park Slope, but that’s just ridiculous. That price isn’t unusual at Dizzy’s — in fact, it’s cheap comparative to other dishes on the menu. The waffle itself was fine, but nothing to write home about. Oh, and the peaches were canned and super-sugary. Coffee was weak, overpriced, and did not include free refills.

Great Turkey Burger and fries. Food is excellent. Price for a burger is a little high but worth it. Great service and cool atmosphere.

The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. Well worth the extra cost compared to other diners in the area. Amazing hangover food. Delivered quickly.

I honestly love the food, I go there personally all the time, but they get a zero star count for their delivery. On three separate occasions they have gotten my order wrong which is literally every single time I called and placed an order. Sad that someone is not able to understand what a ‘black coffee’ means when you serve breakfast food.

Super cute«old school» type diner with a fun and friendly neighborhood vibe. And sheesh, the neighborhood around the diner couldn’t be more adorable. We showed up on a Friday night to find it pleasantly un-crowded(but not awkwardly deserted either) but with a circle of clearly loyal locals there to enjoy the live music happening. We are al fresco on the patio to enjoy the fall air while still getting to have the music waft our way — perfect combination! Service was friendly and the food was delish and pretty reasonably priced. I had the Mac & Cheese topped with Rice Krispies which was the bomb. And my friend loved her veggie chili with tortilla chips as well. So many other things on the menu were really tempting too– will just have to make my way back soon!

Great breakfast. Varied menu, tasty. The service starts with basket of muffins and scones with strawberry butter. The butter is divine! I’d like to counter the comments about being overpriced. There food is exceptional compared to other places in the neighborhood The muffins and scones is totally worth it. And the service is friendly and efficient.

I like Dizzy’s. I think their brunch menu is good and fairly priced, their bread/muffin basket is yummy, they make a good burger for dinner, it’s a child friendly restaurant(though my girl is almost 7, so she knows how to behave in a restaurant, and the outdoor seating in the spring/summer/fall is nice. It gets pretty crowded on a Sunday morning/early afternoon, so I just avoid that time slot. Paying cash is no big deal to me. The only thing that wavers is the service. You can get rushed out the door or be slumped over in your chair searching for your waiter to give you the check. Overall, it’s pretty good.

So today my family and I decide to get some brunch and thought we give Dizzy’s a fifth chance. Bad idea! I understand a resturant wanting to capitalize on Sunday brunchers, but they going about it all wrong. $ 16 dollars for eggs Benedict! And it didn’t even come with a side salad. It’s not like the eggs were from an organic open range no gmo slaughter free farm. Or the ham was actually from Canada or the Hollandaise sauce was from holland they got on holiday. And now the diner on 4th ave has raised there prices to compete. Greasy palm vs. Greasy spoon. MEH.

I took my good friend here for her birthday. We had brunch. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The food was excellent. I had two warm biscuits and the gravy was delicious. I of course had a cup of espresso. The server was professional and helpful.

Dizzy’s is a solid food option. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Service isn’t perfect; I’ve had several issues with order and bill confusion.

I love this place. The salmon w/quinoa, vegetarian chili, veggie burger, Brussel sprouts, and Omelets are my favorites. My only issue are they’re cash only and they can’t make hash browns with out butter. You’d think that a fine diner like this they’d be more accommodating to dietary restrictions. On the plus side they do have gluten free bread.

Kind of a weird experience/sequence of service… my usual is water and bread are the 1st things to come out at restaurants. At Dizzys, we were asked if we would like a beverage besides water and the waitress told us that she will bring our drinks out with the muffins…5 minutes later our drinks arrived with no muffins… THEN5 minutes later the water came out. When the muffins FINALLY arrived, 1 of the muffins had the appearance as though someone took a bite out of crime because the top was completely missing. This was brought to the waitress’ attention and she looked as though we shouldn’t of brought it to her attention. Needless to say the food arrived… it was COLD :( Also, a patron had the audacity to bring their dog for brunch. I thought this was torture as the dog smelled the food he started to bark. This was a disturbing scene… to watch the dog owner attempt to calm his dog down to stop the barking. This was not the type of Sunday brunch I desired… it was definitely a DIZZYING experience !!!

I am glad Dizzy’s is here and still going since I was totally convinced this space was cursed by the owner of the dry cleaning establishment that was here previously. The food is okay. I do like the little muffins and biscuits that come with the strawberry butter at brunch. It always seems like it is going to be better and then it’s just okay… not my first choice.

Classic diner in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. It has WiFi but they aren’t exactly cool with you posting up there beyond the time it takes you to finish your meal. Their body language cues will make that clear. Food is meh. I ordered a special that wasn’t on the menu — lobster burger. Was excited to try lobster meat but it was slightly pricey for the caliber of burger it was. Wish I could have gotten it paired with something other than fries too. Not a place I’d be itching to return too.

Although you get free muffins with your brunch, it was dry! You also have a choice between unlimited coffee, juice, or a cocktail. I got the juice and it was served in a double shot glass(almost). My server was nice enough to give me a free one on the house! The food(that’s paid for) is great! I would go back.

Southern Fried Chicken15.00 Finger-licking good free-range fried chicken served with baked cheesy pepper jack grits and buttered peas Excellent menu writer, piss-poor chef. First off, I was on a diet and chose the grits because it’s corn based, and yet the white puke on the plate tasted like left-over hashed potatoes. Then I took a more careful look at the peas and carrots in the ice cream cup. It is overcooked(well, everything on the plate was overcooked) with bits of black sprinkled it — and it’s not pepper, it’s from unwashed cooking equipment. Take a look at the fried chicken. Burnt. Really embarrassed I didn’t plan for dinner and came with a date since everything else around the area was a 30 minute wait. In retrospect, if there was ever a Zombie Apocalypse, I would handcuff the cook and manager to the bar, let the zombies in, burn the place down, and then go somewhere else to find some food.
