I’ve been coming to this very clean, very friendly place since the day they opened. I literally live across the street but would walk a mile for the service, great chairs and talented employees. The owner– she’s awesome and always here,(always a great sign that they are making sure their business is on top!) Thank you and I hope I never have to find another place to get a pedicure/manicure as I’ve lived in the neighborhood 7 years and this is just lovely.

Very very nice hidden gem. It’s not the fanciest looking salon but the people and the prices are great. Jojo was so patient even as I changed my colors choices various times. She showed me pictures of clients with a particular nail color that I thought I wanted and did not become annoyed when I changed my mind once more. She’s was very careful and meticulous as she did my nails. She even offered me some water and did not frown upon me for only having $ 8 in cash for a tip(I normally tip on card). The pedicure was simple but the use of hot stones and the warm paraffin were nice additions. Gel manicure + pedicure was $ 48(actually $ 50 because I used my card). I would definitely return if I were in the neighborhood again. ps-NO AMEXANDNOTIPSONCARD.

I live a block away from this salon and was nervous to see it changing management some months back. I loved Sister Nail and the ladies who worked there, BUT– Dolphin Spa is wonderful. I have had Jane twice now and she is meticulous and gentle and very sweet. Everything is also very clean and sanitized. I will definitely be back and will bring friends/family. The husband-wife owners are also very friendly.

I love that this salon uses hot stone treatment as part of the regular pedicure! The prices are very good and they offer little little water bottles to customers(sometimes you have to ask, but they are more than happy to give you one). They also open up earlier than most other salons, which is a major bonus for me! No appointment necessary.

This is my first Unilocal review(I’ve been a reader for years, but have never felt compelled to write a review … until now). I just adore Dolphin Spa. A friend recommended them a few months back and now I won’t go anywhere else. The owner, JoJo, is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met — she’s kind, generous, and good to her employees. She does not charge extra for things like weekly polish(I always get Vinylux), while other neighborhood salons charge anywhere from $ 1 to $ 5 extra! Every manicure I’ve gotten there has been terrific, and has lasted far longer than any other place. Dolphin is clean, well-run, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s a bit off the beaten path(not on 7th or 5th aves), but well worth the trip. I love Dolphin!

Dolphin Spa replaces the Sister Nail Salon. Jojo and Michael are the new owners. The manicure and pedicure equipment brand new with the latest technology! Dolphin Spa is exceptionally clean. The manicures and pedicures are neat and last a very long time. I highly suggest splurging on the Colour Gel manicure. ITLASTSFORWEEKS! I get the Organic Spa when I want to pamper myself. I also get my eyebrow waxing done at Dolphin Spa. My skin is sensitive and I’ve never have any issues at Dolphin Spa. Dolphin Spa is kid friendly and I bring my two kids to get Mani/Pedis when they are not busy. My kids love Jojo and Michael!

I found the combination of Debbie Gibson on the stereo and bloody, violent MMA street fighting on the television to be a strange and upsetting combination. Not the best atmosphere for what I hoped would be a relaxing, afternoon manicure. The place is clean-ish but my manicurist lacked confidence. I did get a lip wax there once and that was fine. Beware of the gentleman who just seems to just hang out in there whose«humor» resembles a poor man’s Tracy Morgan. He kept saying that any woman who wears nude nail polish,(which was recently all the rage at the last NYC fashion week runway shows…) should be ready to sign up for AARP. Guess what color I was using. If you’re having a nail emergency check it out. Otherwise, proceed with caution.

$ 20 pedicure and $ 15 manicure buff. Nice people. Clean place. JoJo did a great job with my mani-pedi. I will be going back!

Super clean and great prices! Only paid $ 20 for a pedicure that felt spa like. Joko told all the bells and whistles are included in the price from the stone massage and extra heel cream. Goodbye winter feet… hello spring baby smooth feet!

This is where Sisters used to be. It is no longer a sweetly shabby and cheap place. But it is good! The basic pedicure went up $ 4 but it now includes a better massage, much better scraping, and a heel wrap. My heels were noticeably nicer. The reno is nice– much better windows, new chairs that can give your butt a massage as well as you back, and just more put together. Try it out–
