AWESOME place to come in with your book, laptop, work that needs to get done and sit in with a decent latte and balthazar baked goodie. I live close by and have been here a few times to do just that. The shop itself is pretty roomy with tons of natural light which made it a really awesome environment to get work done in. Plus the barista was really friendly and just makes you want to keep coming back! Definitely recommend if you live in the area and just want some quiet time.

This is the best coffee shop in all of Bushwick. I’m surprised that more people don’t know about it. The wifi isn’t just reliable, it’s zippy fast! Such a pleasure to connect to. The wonderful women who work there are very welcoming towards people who roost for a bit. They’ll offer to settle your bill at the end of your stay, which is really helpful since I often find myself eating breakfast and lunch there and sipping tons of coffee in between. The coffee is delicious and they offer a 24 oz Cold Brew that is a great value. They have a build your own sandwich menu and the ingredients are always fresh. Bright green avocado slices and fragrant onions that pop in your mouth. They’ll even brew iced tea for you on the spot! They also have delicious pastries from Balthazar’s. I would give this place infinite stars if I could. The staff is so kind and sweet. From the first day I stepped in, they made me feel like a regular. If it were to close it would be a great loss to the community.

I ordered decaf but they didn’t have any. Instead I got jasmine green tea(although they didn’t have one of the tea flavors either…) It’s a bit small(five tables, each with four seats, and two bar stools by the window) but it’s not a busy area. I wish they’d have smaller tables for individuals. But it is nice to have workspace for a laptop. The lady who works here speaks English, so no worries there!

Such a great location and atmosphere. Stopped in seeking refuge from the rain and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is great and the coffee is pretty good(and I’m a stickler when it comes to coffee). AAAANNND they have natural juices! If you’re in the area, definitely come by and check this place out! It adds a bit of class and elegance to the area(not to mention some much needed coffee variety! Sorry Dunkin Donuts! We need options!!!)

Decent but they don’t know where they are, these prices are for Williamsburg. They’ve literally got halfway houses close by. Uhhh look around. Also they were shut down by the health department you’d think they’d make a change.

First time here and I can already tell I’ll be back. Usually I have to bike to a good coffee shop that has enough work space, but this one is a 5 min walk from my apartment. Great coffee, can make your own sandwich or bagel, lots of work space for computer with plenty of outlets, and they have fresh squeezed juice! People are very nice with a quiet ambiance and chill music playing in the background. Prices are very reasonable.

El Cafecito is a great roomy café in the Myrtle-Wyckoff neighborhood. Really pleasant staff, plenty of space and outlets. Plus Balthazar croissants from $ 2.25-$ 2.75! Prices are quite reasonable. This isn’t a typical overpriced hipster café but a nice mellow spot to eat pastries & get some work done.

One of my favorite places in all of Brooklyn! Great service. Quality coffee. I always get a ham and sandwich on a toasted bagel with mixed greens and tomatoes, and while that seems pretty average, I assure you that here it is anything but. Possibly my favorite sandwich in the world? For now it’s pretty easy to grab a seat and an outlet to work, but I have a feeling like it won’t be for long!

A really nice café that’s got — gasp — actual workspace and people actually working on their laptops! Such a thing is just not seen in Bushwick. There’s plenty of space inside, and good seating options from window barstools for people watching to cozy nooks in the back. The coffee is Brooklyn Roasting Co. and while it’s no Stumptown or Oslo, it makes for a rather solid iced latte. The barista made mine a bit milky, but still good. Their pastries — from Balthazar — are also outstanding. I can personally vouch for the tastiness of the almond croissant.

This is the one place I visit every day without fail. A true gem. This place is owned and operated by a local resident that’s lived in the community for years. You cannot go wrong. Whether it’s the freshly baked in store apple turnovers, or the freshly squeezed juices. Everything has a home style quality to it, and it’s all made with care and love. Best cup of coffee in the neighborhood. Bagels and pastries delivered fresh from Balthazar. The staff are warm and welcoming. Top marks in every category. In a world where every other place tries to be like every other place(so you essentially end up with the same coffee shop over and over again in Brooklyn), I’m happy that small family owned businesses like this still have a place. :)

The staff here is lovely and willing to customize your drink for you. I ordered a small cup of regular hog chocolate, and was offered if I wanted cinnamon. I took the offer, and I was impress that the barista pour the cinnamon in the bottom of the cup and then the milk to let the cinnamon blend in with the hot chocolate instead of just dusting it on too. The place is very spacious and good for groups, if I lived closer this would have been the PERFECT study spot! The feel of this place is like a hidden stem in Bushwick — quiet and peaceful with modern decorations. Back to my hot chocolate, a cup of heaven for the winter. Definitely coming back in the summer to try their juice bar.

This is a lovely coffee shop out in middle of nowhere Bushwick. What I like about it the most, aside from the excellent service and relatively quiet ambiance, is that they use steamed milk, even for drip coffee. You don’t see this very much at café’s around here. But it does make a big difference, and enhances the flavor of their already excellent tasting coffee. Please don’t tell the world about this secret little treasure. This is the last sanctuary I have from the already overly crowded café’s in Brooklyn.

Looks like I’ve found my coffee shop! Has everything I need — good coffee, good music, reasonable prices, friendly and happy staff, good solid and secure wifi, and a decent atmosphere. Why can’t all coffee shops be like this? My only complaint — no refills on regular coffee, not even at a discounted price. Good bagels too!

This place is exactly what I had thought the neighborhood needed when I first moved here in 2008. Not that I didn’t appreciate 50-cent bodega coffee, especially considering that I lived on it since I started drinking the stuff, but it’s certainly nice to be able to sit down and chill while you drink your Colombian roast! El Cafecito achieves all this and more, with tasty morsels to eat, a lovely staff and free wi-fi! What’s more is that I love that it fits in with the neighborhood. Check it out!

What a lovely small café, the ambiance is wonderful, clean and quiet with smooth jams playing in the background. I ordered a cappuccino which was flavorful and fresh. In addition I ordered a croissant and Nutella a perfect combination for the yucky weather were having, all delicious!!! I will stop by again!

This place is an adorable new local café with free wifi, worldcup on a big tv, yummy options of scones to danishes and croissants, the option to create your own juice with as many fruits as you want, and amazing iced or hot lattes and cappucinos! The staff is super friendly and accomodating, when i arrived they were out of blueberries –cries– but maybe next time. They made me an iced juice with watermelon and grapefruit and lime and bring it quick to u at ur table and can sweeten it with sugar if ud like. They sadly dont have any other foods here yet i hope they can expand on the food choices soon, and i can see myself coming here every weekend to try the entire menu! The best part of this place is that its peaceful and clean!
