Three words: cheesecake ice cream. Holy **$% That was awesome. The Atrium is tucked away in a movie-set style cul-de-sac in the delightful bricked roads of Dumbo. Before the event, I snagged a cookie before closing time at the cookie/coffee shop on the corner and immediately regretted eating anything ahead of time as the chef at Atrium really delivered with an outstanding assortment of apps. Highlights were the bone marrow and the above-mentioned crack-tastic dessert. My wife and I spent most of our time chatting up the friendly bartenders on the first level and staring in awe at the beautiful décor. Thanks to Four Roses Bourbon for having a big birthday(150!) — sure made my Old-Fashioneds sing. Will definitely come back for brunch(per the staff’s recommendation) and spend the afternoon walking around the fun neighborhood. Strong work, Peter D!

What a great time! Thanks to the folks at the Atrium Dumbo for delivering quality food and drinks and fun… and thanks to the Unilocal!staff for planning this event! Everything was spot on! The food and drinks were super high-quality, and the folks at Atrium Dumbo were dedicated to making sure our group had an amazing time! Also, there was an attention to detail component from everyone at the restaurant that made this event 5-stars and beyond! For example, the servers were highly attentive and accommodating… the food looked stunning enough to be served to royalty… etc. etc. As for the drinks, they also were amazing… I mean, come on, endless prohibition style cocktails! WOW! And the food was unique(e.g., escarole & bone marrow ravioli) and tasty! I talked to one of the owners on the way out and was super impressed with his vision for the place. I certainly intend to visit Atrium Dumbo again soon… next up, BRUNCH!

Another great event at yet another establishment that I didn’t even know it existed! Unilocal never stops amazing me! Sitting at the«Senior» table with my fellow seniors, we sampled the dandy apps being passed around as we took in the atmosphere. The warehouse-like space with its industrial exposed piping overhead has become a Brooklyn trademark; it’s all the rage. The dimly lit lights set the mood to be comfy, casual, and chill. The two floors helps you better appreciate the raw space, and also peek straight into the kitchen where all the magic was happening! Talk of the night: that amazing peanut cheesecake button dessert. As most know, I absolutely HATE peanuts in and around my food, but it was so subtle, that I barely even noticed! YES! Very delightful; leaves you wondering how the full dessert menu is like! Talk of the appetizers: this one is close for me — the tartar was A+ in my book, nested in a cucumber little cone, and the duck. Both were earthy, savory, and demonstrated freshness with the use and skill of texture and presentation. Very lovely! The drinks were strong — I downed my Manhattan pretty shamefully, but it was great for those not faint of heart. I would love to see this place in the summer time! Thank you Elite Team!
