Elite Event at The Brooklyn Cyclones Game

Well better writing a review late than never right?
This was my first Elite Event as an Elite Unilocaler!
What a good time it was!
I felt like a king up in the skybox, with all the sausages and hotdogs you could stuff your face with!
Some awesome free schwag– like a Cyclones hat, a watch and Aquarium tickets. I really made out like a bandit because after the game was over there were extra sausages and dawgs– so I brought ‘em home and very much enjoyed them!
People were super friendly and I look forward to seeing them again.
After the game was over, me and some of the other Unilocalers ran around the bases of the field– it was pretty awesome.
Oh yeah, and the game was cool too!

While I grew up in Queens, under the shadow of Shea (and now Citifield), I never have been to a baseball game.* So this game was extra special since not only was it my first live action baseball game, it was my first Unilocal Elite event of the year.
Schlepping to Coney Island after work was definitely worth it to check out the cute little stadium, the sweet Unilocal suite, downing some cold beers, being hugged by Sandy the Seagull, shooting the breeze with my Unilocal peeps (talking about Dubai and sex tourism, the state of NYC public schools and soccer), meeting old and new Unilocalers**, watching the rousing game,*** having a wonderful time. Brooklyn Elite events are still my favorite.
*I do play softball, so it’s not that bad… right?

***There was a fight in the second inning! Or… the start of one. In any case, there were all sorts of shenanigans on the field. Hot dog race, anyone?

This was my 2^nd baseball game (ever) and damn did Peter D let me have this experience in style… SUITE STYLE! It gave us an amazing view of not only the game but Luna Park on the left hand side and the ocean behind the stadium! Loved it.
I came 45mns late (thanks MTA) so I missed the Mascot making an appearance *boo* :(But all that was made up with being provided with a Unilocal watch (it says TIME TO Unilocal on the hour — whaaaa!!!), a Brooklyn Cyclones hat, good food and more! I got to meet new Unilocaler Elites (hola Jando! sup Heather!) and catch up with the old.

I was very excited for this event, I’ve never been in a suite before and a Unilocal event was a great experience for a first time.
The stadium is small, so it’s not like your up high like you you would in a suite for a major league game. We were right on top of the field and were able to heckle ol’ Stumpy and the rest of the bumbling X Cutters, who beat our awesome Cyclones to our dismay!
Glad to meet Garrett, Ethan, Leslie, Mike, Jando, and everyone else there last night. it was fun making friends in such a suite environment!
It’s Time To Unilocal,Time To Unilocal,Time To Unilocal,I’ve already gotten a few compliments on my flashy Elite wristwatch this morning. I love it! The alarm clock works I may add, waking me up from my dreams this morning of the next elite event!
