If you care about your car, STAY AWAY. Hired Gary to paint an aftermarket fiberglass hood for my car, a practically brand new Mustang GT. Turned into a nightmare, not just because his guys have zero idea how to prep fiberglass, but the paintwork they did was just as bad.
They did zero prep work on the hood. Zero. They didn’t bake the hood before they primed it so it ended up having print through issues. I paid extra to have them block sand the hood straight (all fiberglass hoods need that) and all they did was sand the gel coat and shoot it. They painted the hood on the car and (it’s a black car, not really necessary) and they didn’t tell me this at the time but they painted both entire fenders for NO reason, and did a horrible job. Not just the tops of the fenders to blend, but all the way down. There are pinholes everywhere on the paint on my fenders now, which I now can see. Instead of removing the badge from the fender before painting it, they masked it and now there’s a halo around the badge, and more pinholes. Careless, dirty work. There was overspray on the doors as well.
They didn’t even paint the underside of the hood at first. Simply amazing. When I made them do that they didn’t even remove the weatherseal, they just masked it. Probably took longer to mask it than it would have taken to pull 5 clips.
I protested as I saw his guys using the too-​large socket on their power wrench to adjust my fender bolts, and rounded off the corners on the bolts as a result. Power tools on a fender bolt? And not even the right size? Lord.
This is an in-​and-​out insurance cash grab Brooklyn body shop at its worst. An awful experience, a total waste of money. Car is in worse shape now than before I went there. If I hadn’t paid cash I would have charged back my credit card.
I ended up having to buy a new hood and getting it properly painted elsewhere.

I went here because I needed an updated inspection on my 2007 Toyota Sienna. They performed it within 45 min. and determined that the lights for my license plate were not working. They fixed it on the spot. They were so nice and helpful I decided to get this small leak I had in my trunk fixed. I left the car there overnight and they found the leak by spraying the car with soapy water and then they sealed it up. I spent about $ 350 total, which is much less than I expected to pay. The guys working there are real stereotypical car mechanic types but with a really sweet attitude and they definitely work off the philosophy that the customer is always right. I will definitely be going back there to get my 5,000 mile services.
